    Abstract: PURPOSE:Title resin composition that contains a specific amount of granular inorganic fillers, thus being suitably used for the drum material of VTR, headmold material, tape guide material, etc., because of its freeness of anisotropy caused by orientation, high dimensional accuracy in molding and high mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:To (A) an unsaturated polyester resin [a condensate of alpha,beta- ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid of its anhydride with polyhydric alcohol or a mixture thereof] is added (B) 40-65vol% of granular inorganic filler as glass beads or calcium carbonate. The component A may contain thermoplastic resin as acrylic resin and the particle size of the component B is 40-50mu when it is glass beads and 1-100mu in calcium carbonate.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain fine particles of a Ba(SnxTi1-x)O3 solid solution having high uniformity and activity by carrying out the heat treatment at a lower temperature than that in a conventional solid-phase reactional method. CONSTITUTION:In the method for producing fine particles of this invention, an Sn compound or its hydrolyzate is mixed with a Ti compound or its hydrolyzate at a prescribed ratio and a Ba salt is then added and made to react with the resultant mixture in a strongly alkaline aqueous solution at a temperature near the boiling point to wash the formed precipitate with water or warm water. Thereby, alkali ions such as K , Li or Na are sufficiently removed and the obtained precipitate is filtered and dried to afford mixed fine particles of BaTO3 fine particles with BaSn(OH)6 fine particles. The obtained mixed fine particles are then heat-treated at, e.g. 1260 deg.C for 3hr to provide the objective fine particles of a Ba(SnxTi1-x)O3 solid solution [0

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture junction ferrite using a furnace of ordinary atmosphere, and to contrive both improvement in productivity and reduction in cost by a method wherein a hydroxide selected from K, Rb and Cs is provided on the junction interface between single-crystal ferrite and polycrystalline ferrite. CONSTITUTION:A hydroxide 3, selected from K, Rb and Cs, is provided on the junction interface of polycrystalline ferrite 2 of the junction ferrite consisting of single-crystal ferrite 1 and polycrystalline ferrite 2, and junction ferrite is manufactured by pressure-welding the above-mentioned material. The heat treatment temperature when a junction operation is conducted should be 1220 to 1330 deg.C, and the pressurizing force should be 0.1 to 10kg/cm . For example, potassium hydroxide, rubidium hydroxide, the aqueous solution of cesium hydroxide, or alcoholate solution and the like can be used as the hydroxide of K, Rb and Cs.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled powder having fine particle size and superior particle size distribution easily, inexpensively, and in large amt. by heat-treating powdery particles obtd. by adding an alkali to aq. soln. contg. Fe and Ba and heating the mixture to cause reaction, in the air. CONSTITUTION:Alkali such as NaOH, KOH, etc., is added to an aq. soln. obtd. by dissolving, for example, FeCl3 and BaCl2 in water, or an aq. suspension contg. the hydroxides of Fe and Ba . Obtd. aq. soln. having >=10pH is allowed to react by heating at >=80 deg.C, and obtd. reaction product is washed with water, filtered, and dried to obtain BaO.nFe2O3 (n is -5) as fine granular compd. Then the product is heat-treated, for example, at ca. 800 deg.C for ca. 2hr in the air.
