    Abstract: Nádoba na výrobu kovu ze vsázkového materiálu, obsahujícího kov, zpusobem prímého tavení, kde tato nádoba obsahuje roztavenou lázen, sestávající z vrstvy (15) kovu a z vrstvy (16) strusky na vrstve (15) kovu, a souvislý plynový prostor (31) nad vrstvou (16) strusky, pricemž zahrnuje nístej, vytvorenou ze žáruvzdorného materiálu a mající základnu (3) a steny (55) ve styku s roztaveným kovem, a bocní steny (5), které vybíhají smerem vzhuru od sten (55) nísteje, a které jsou ve styku s vrstvou (16) strusky a se souvislým plynovým prostorem (31). Bocní steny (5), které jsou ve styku se souvislým plynovým prostorem (31), jsou opatreny vodou chlazenými panely (57) a vrstvou strusky na techto panelech. Nádoba je dále opatrená jednou nebo více prívodními trubkami/dmyšními trubicemi (13), smerujícími dolu do nádoby a privádejícími plyn, obsahující kyslík, do nádoby nad vrstvu (15) kovu, a vetším poctem prívodních trubek/dmyšních trubic (11), privádejících alespon cást vsázkového materiálu, obsahujícího kov a uhlíkatý materiál s nosným plynem do roztavené lázne, takže proniká do vrstvy (15) kovu.

    Abstract: A lance (5) for injecting a feed material, preferably a solid feed material, into a metallurgical vessel, is disclosed.
