    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a metal oxide laminated polypropylene composite film excellent in oxygen barrier properties and steam barrier properties. CONSTITUTION:A metal oxide laminated polypropylene composite film is obtained by providing a resin layer of syndiotactic polypropylene or a mixed resin layer of syndiotactic polypropylene and isotactic polypropylene on at least the single surface of a base layer based on polypropylene and laminating a metal oxide layer to the surface of the resin layer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a heat-resistant moistureproof vapor deposition film excellent in heat resistance and moisture proof by vapor depositing a metal on a biaxially oriented polypropylene film having specified thermal fusing temp. and crystallization degree to obtain specified thermal shrinkage and permeability for water vapor. CONSTITUTION:At least one surface of a biaxially oriented polypropylene film having >=165 deg.C peak temp. of thermal fusing temp. and >=50% crystallization degree is treated with corona discharge or plasma to deposit a metal (such as Al, Zn, Si) by vapor deposition. Thus, a film having .24hr/20mum permeability of water vapor is obtd. The film has excellent heat resistance and moisture proof and good dimensional stability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a film excellent in pliability, transparency, heat resistance, low-temp. impact resistance, and elastic recovery from elongation. CONSTITUTION:This film comprises a polypropylene copolymer and 10-60wt.% hydrogenated copolymer comprising at least one polymer block formed mainly from a vinylaromatic compound and at least one polymer block formed mainly from a hydrogenated conjugated diene compound. It preferably has recesses on at least one side which have a depth of 5mum or larger and the density of which along at least a line extending in one direction on the surface is 1-200.

CONSTITUTION:This heat-resistant and moistureproof film is a film prepared by mixing 70-95wt.% crystalline polypropylene having half the isothermal crystallization time at 125 deg.C of =98.5% isotactic pentad fraction with 5-30wt.% one or more of petroleum resins and terpenic resins. In any of the resins, no polar group is substantially contained. The film has .24hr/0.1mm) moisture permeability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a composite polyolefin film for print laminate which is excellent in heat laminate aptitude for print laminate printing paper. CONSTITUTION:In a composite film wherein a polyolefin thermofusible resin (layer B) is laminated on one side of a cast film (layer A) having polypropylene as a main component, a surface glossiness of the layer A is 110% or higher and its mean refractive index is within a range of 1.500-1.5080. Therefore, transfer resistance of a flaw of a metallic roll in print laminate can be improved, and print laminate printing paper having a high quality surface can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the objective film having a high optical density and excellent hiding power, impact resistance and steam barrier properties, comprising a resin of a specified composition and having a specified cross-section and a specified optical density. CONSTITUTION:The film is made from a resin having a composition of 65-93wt.% crystalline PP, 5-20wt.% amorphous resin (e.g. polycarbonate resin) of a heat distortion temperature of 120 deg.C or above, and 2-15wt.% polyolefin resin of a melting temperature of 140 deg.C or below (e.g. ethylene/methyl methacrylic acid copolymer). The cross section of the film has a three-layer structure composed of an intermediate layer made of an unfoamed layer and the upper and lower layers each made of a foamed layer. The average ratio of the thickness of the intermediate layer to the entire thickness of the film cross section is 5-60%, and the optical density in a film thickness of 30mum is 0.40 or above.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a polyester film which is excellent in adhesive properties in printing ink and a metallic vapor-deposited film and resistance to moisture by melting oxyketone metallic complex compd. and mixing this complex compd. with polyester in vacuum and extruding this mixture. CONSTITUTION:The content of oxyketone metallic complex compd. is regulated to 0.01 - 3 wt.% for polyester resin. In the case less than this range, the adhesive properties to a metallic vapor-deposited layer expecially at high humidity and curing are not made remarkable. Further the case exceeding the above-mentioned range is made unpreferable because degree of polymerization is lowered at a time for heating and melting polyester or coloring is easily casued. In the case of mixing oxyketone metallic complex compd. with polyester, such a method is shown that for example, these are supplied to a vacuum vent-type biaxial extruder, heated and melted in vacuum and mixed with each other. At this time, degree of vacuum is preferably regulated to a range within 0.1 - 10 mmHg and heating temp. is preferably regulated to m.p. or more of polyester resin. Further oxyketone metallic complex compd. is melted on at least single side of a film made of polyethylene terephthalate and mixed therewith. A composite film can be formed by laminating a film made of this obtained polyester.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance pinhole resistance, the adhesion strength of a deposited film and soldering resistance by forming a polyester film from 1,4- polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate and specifying the thickness of a polyolefin support film. CONSTITUTION:A laminated film is constituted by laminating a polyester film having a thickness of 0.2-1.5mum to the single surface or both surfaces of a polyolefin support film and the polyester film is composed of 1, 4- polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate and the thickness of the polyethylene support film is set to a range of 5-100 times that of the polyester film. Further, the polyolefin film is a non-oriented, uniaxially oriented or biaxially oriented film composed of a polymer or copolymer of olefin and, as polyolefin, a propylene copolymer having an m.p. of 100-150 deg.C is especially pref. This laminated film can be used in a dielectric for a condenser or a thermal transfer ribbon.
