A system for opening doors, windows, hatches, or other apertures or openings,that has multiple opening means, to enable the door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening, to be opened from at least two sides. The system includes a door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening with handles on at least any two sides; a frame, against which said door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening closes on at least said two sides, and from which said door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening opens from only one side at a time; a locking and releasing means on each of the sides from which said door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening opens; at least one hinge attached to each of the sides from which said door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening opens; a special control bar attached to each said hinge, said bar substantially locked onto a respective control system when in contact with said control bar at the time said control system is activated; and a control circuit, comprising a sensor and a relay, associated with each of said handles, whereby if a person extends a hand to open the door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening from the handle on one side, a sensor on that side activates a corresponding relay to operate said control system on that side and said hinge on that side is retracted; such that said door, window, hatch, or other aperture or opening can be opened from at least two sides, but only from one side at a time.

A movable barrier operator (10) has a first disconnect mechanism (20) and a second disconnect mechanism (35) wherein either mechanism can be used to cause the output drive of the operator to be disengaged from the movable barrier to allow the movable barrier to be manually moved. In one embodiment, the second disconnect mechanism (35) is located distal to the operator itself such that the disengagement mechanism can be operated from an area external to the operator.

A foot pedal door opener device for a side-by-side cabinet (1) includes a right side foot pedal (7) for opening a left side door (3) of the side-by-side cabinet (1), and a left side foot pedal (9) for opening a right side door (2) of the side-by-side cabinet (1). The right and left side foot pedals (7, 9) are pivotally attached to pivot points on the cabinet (1). Actuator members (8, 10) are fixedly attached to the right and left side foot pedals (7, 9). The actuator members (8, 10) are disposed to engage the opposite doors (2, 3) when a foot pedal (7, 9) is actuated, thereby opening the opposite door (2, 3). The actuator members (8, 10) extend from one foot pedal (7, 9) toward the other foot pedal (7, 9), such that a portion of the actuator members (8, 10) are in an overlapping, non-interfering relationship.

An electric door operator for opening and closing one or a spaced pair of transit vehicle passenger doors for being mounted over an opening for the doors. A rotatable input shaft has an electric motor secured to the input shaft for driving the input shaft, a worm centrally positioned on the motor shaft, and an electric brake mounted to the input shaft at an end opposite of the electric motor. A drum cam lifts a pinion from a worm gear disconnecting the worm gear from an output gear train in an emergency.

Das Laufwerk (1) für eine Schiebetür umfasst einen Laufwerkträger (15) für mindestens ein Paar Laufrollen (17) und ein Befestigungsgehäuse (13), in welchem eine Spindel (27) axial unverschiebbar gehalten ist und in einer Gewindebohrung (47) im Laufwerkträger (15) kämmt. Durch Drehen am Betätigungsrad (29) kann die Höhenlage zwischen der Schiebetür (5) und der Decke des Schranks durch Verändern des Abstands zwischen Befestigungsgehäuse (13) und Laufwerkträger (15) eingestellt werden.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Türbetätigungs-Hilfseinrichtung, für Schränke bestehend aus Kammer (1), Türe (2) und einem magnetischen Klappverdeck (2.2), welche ein Stoßelement (3.2) und ein dazugehöriges Antriebselement (3.3) aufweist, das in Türöffnungsrichtung hinreicht, so dass es sich von der Kammer trennen kann, zusätzlich zu dem einen Bewegungssensor aufweist, der im Schrank (1.2) montiert ist und wenn die Türe (2) von dem Benutzer in Schließrichtung gestoßen und der Klappverdeck (2.2) somit in einer vorher bestimmten Entfernung angepresst wird, der Bewegungssensor (3.1) anspricht und durch diesen Bewegungssensor (3.1) das Antriebselement (3.3) aktiviert wird, und somit eine Schließeinrichtung (3.1.2, 3.2.2) aufweist, die dafür sorgt, dass das Stosselement (3.2) in Richtung Öffnen vorschreitet.

The motor (14), gearbox (38) and drive wheel (36) are carried on a slider plate (42) which can slide transverse to the axis of the shaft (12). A front plate (28) is fixed transverse to the axis of the shaft (12). A Bowden cable (50) has its sheath (51A) attached at (52A) to the front plate (28), and its inner cable (51B) attached at (52B) to the slider plate (42), so that manipulation of the Bowden cable at a remote location allows force to be applied between the plates (28, 42), either tightening the belt (34) to apply drive from the motor (14) to the shaft (12), or releasing tension the belt (34), to disengage the drive.
