The present invention is for the kind of power machines, engines or compressors which have two or more pistons which work against each other preferably with a common combustion or compression chamber in a stationary cylinder and where the power is transmitted to a rotating movement without an intermediate crankshaft. It is an object of the present invention to obtain such power machine having a simple valve control means. One such device has two parallel plane discs, one stationary disc (8) and one relatively thereto rotating disc (13). The stationary disc (8) is mounted to a housing (9) and the disc (8) in turn has one in its centre positioned cylinder (1) with two end walls (2, 3). In the cylinder there are two pistons (4, 5) which are working pistons of a combustion engine and have a common combustion chamber. At the centre of the cylinder bore adjacent to the upper dead centres, UDC, of the pistons and at opposite sides thereof there are two valves (50, 51). The valve shafts at the ends which are turned only from the cylinder contact a controlling curve or surface (56) which is a part of the rotating disc. On the control curve there are raised parts (57, 58) at which the valve are opened when disc rotates.

Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine mit zumindest einer Nockenwelle mit zumindest einem Schiebenockenelement mit Schiebenocken und sich X-förmig kreuzenden Verschiebenuten (2 und 2a), wobei das Schiebenockenelement mit einer Innenverzahnung (4) auf einer Zahnwelle (5) drehfest aber axial verschiebbar angeordnet ist und wobei zwischen den Verschiebenuten (2 und 2a) ein Führungselement fixiert ist, das elastisch bewegliche Weichenzungen (10 und 10a) aufweist, die an einer im Kreuzungsbereich gelagerten Drehgelenkplatte (12) geführt sind, und mit einer Aktorvorrichtung mit zumindest einem aus einem Gehäuse heraus bewegbaren Aktorstift (9), wobei die Aktorvorrichtung an einem Bauteil eines Zylinderkopfes oder an dem Zylinderkopf der Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine befestigbar ist und der Aktorstift (9) nach seiner Herausbewegung mit zumindest einer Verschiebenut (2 oder 2a) des Schiebenockenelements in Verbindung tritt und wobeidas Führungselement als C-förmig ausgeführte Feder (6) ausgebildet und zumindest mit seinen Enden an der Zahnwelle (5) fixiert ist.

L'actionneur de soupape électro-hydraulique à vérin et came alternative suivant la présente invention comprend : un vérin hydraulique actionneur de soupape (2) qui ouvre une soupape d'un moteur à combustion interne (100) au moyen d'une électrovanne d'ouverture de soupape (4), d'un conduit haute pression d'ouverture de soupape (11) et d'un circuit hydraulique haute pression entrant (5), et qui ferme ladite soupape au moyen d'une électrovanne de fermeture de soupape (6),d'un conduit haute pression de fermeture de soupape (12) et d'un circuit haute pression sortant (7), une pompe hydraulique volumétrique (8) coopérant avec un clapet anti retour d'entrée de pompe (14) et une électrovanne d'obturation de sortie de pompe (13) et dont la sortie est reliée à un circuit basse pression (9) et à un réservoir basse pression (10) alimenté par une pompe de réapprovisionnement (52) et un réservoir de réapprovisionnement (53).

A device for internal combustion engines, particularly car engines, allows to vary the opening duration and the lift of the timing valves. The variation results from the utilization of all or part of the profile of the alternating cam (9) of which the motion about the axis (14) is provided by the rotating leading cams (10, 11) by contact of the rollers (12) and is transmitted to the roller (8) which acutates with its shaft (13) the rocker arm (3) of the valve (6) returned by the spring (7). The adjustment is carried out by positioning the sprocket wheel (8) by means of the support arms (15) of the shaft (13) which are keyed to the control shaft (14) by means of pins (16).

The invention relates to a method for calibration of a positional sensor on a rotational actuator device for control of a gas exchange valve in an internal combustion engine. The rotational actuator device comprises a controlled electric motor with an operating element for operating the gas exchange valve, two energy storage means acting in opposing drive directions on the gas exchange valve, a control and regulation device, controlling the electric motor with regard to the rotor angle thereof relative to a stored set path, and a positional sensor for determining the rotor position. According to the invention, at least one status parameter for the electric motor is determined, the at least one status parameter compared with a reference parameter and, on a difference between the parameters for comparison, the stored set path and/or the recorded positional sensor signal are altered depending on the status parameter.

A variable valve actuation mechanism includes a control shaft (30) and a rocker arm (22). A second end of the rocker arm is connected to the control shaft. The rocker arm carries a roller (42) for engaging a cam lobe (12Aa) of an engine camshaft (12). A link arm (24) is pivotally coupled at a first end thereof to the first end of the rocker arm. An output cam (26a) is pivotally coupled to the second end of the link arm, and engages a corresponding cam follower (62a) of the engine. A spring (18) biases the roller into contact with the cam lobe and biases the output cam toward a starting angular orientation.

Each valve (5) of an internal combustion engine is opened and closed by a rocker beam (4) which has a follower roller (2) which follows the profile of a linear cam (1). The cam (1) is moved backwards and forwards, in a linear path, by a suitable drive mechanism to produce opening and closing movement of the valve.
