    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a coated granule useful for preparing a preparation unit enabling the continuous sustained release of a medicine in a therapeutically effective level in a patient by coating a granule with an ethylcellulose or methacrylic acid methyl ester, a plasticizer and an agent for preventing sticking. CONSTITUTION: This sustained releasing preparation unit is sustained releasing coated granules coated with a composition containing 2-20% (W/V) ethylcellulose or methacrylic acid methyl ester, 0.1-5.0% plasticizer (e.g. a castor oil, propylene glycol), and 0.5-20% agent for preventing sticking (e.g. magnesium stearate, a talc). By mixing the granules with at least one viscous agent, preferably 2 viscous agents, the granules are formed as a preparation unit such as a tablet. As the viscous agent, a methylcellulose, a hydroxypolymethylcellulose, a povidone, and a hydroxypropylcellulose are used and blended in rations of 2-30wt.% primary viscous agent and 0-30wt.% secondary viscous agent in the preparation unit.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To give a mechanical strength to nitrocellulose film while maintaining hydrophilic property by laminating a wet porous film including anion surface-active agent at the final concentration of a specific ratio with its side surface. CONSTITUTION: A wet porous film 10 including anion surface-active agent at a final concentration of approximately 0.05%-8% (w/w) is laminated on a support 14 with at least its one side surface using an adhesive 12 with an organic solvent base, protein is applied to a specific part 15 on the surface on the opposite side, thus bringing a fluid into contact with this opposite side. Then, by bringing it into contact with a biologically active reagent, the activity of the reagent is retained. Preferably, the porous film 10 consists of nitrocellulose and the final concentration of the surface-active agent is approximately 0.1-3.5% (w/w), thus giving mechanical strength to the nitrocellulose while retaining hydrophilic property.
