    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable accurate positioning by detecting the position of a film which is fed in a slacking state from a film supply reel to a supply-side friction roller and from a take-up side friction roller to a film take-up reel at the upper and lower positions. CONSTITUTION:The position of the film which is fed in the slacking state without no tension from the film supply reel 1 to the supply-side friction roller 31 is detected at the two upper and lower positions by 1st and 2nd photosensors 33a and 33b, and 34a and 34b respectively. Further, the position of the film which is conveyed in the slacking state without tension from the take-up side friction roller 32 to the film take-up reel 4 is detected at the two upper and lower positions by 3rd and 4th photosensors 36a and 36b, and 37a and 37b. Consequently, the high-accuracy positioning is performed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To drive a fine adjustment mechanism of a scanning tunneling microscope or the line highly accurately and in a multistage manner by a method wherein operating electrodes of two sets or more per axis are installed at a piezoelectric drive member which has been formed to be hollow-shaped and has a plurality of an operation electrodes at their outside and inside. CONSTITUTION:A hollow cylindrical piezoelectric drive member is composed of a piezoelectric material PZT; electrodes 7a, 7b are installed so as to be operated in a z-axis direction in two stages; electrodes 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b are installed for operations in x and y directions. When a positive or negative voltage is applied to the z-axis operating electrodes 7a and 7b, the electrodes are displaced in a thickness direction and a displacement in two stages are caused in the z-axis direction. For the x- and y-axis directions, a positive voltage is applied to one of the opposite electrodes and a negative voltage is applied to the other. The piezoelectric drive member is tilted as a whole; a displacement is caused in the x- and y-axis directions.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate peel off of peeling paper by peeling the peeling paper from a double-side adhesive tape by means a peeling paper guide pin arranged at a predetermined position of a pressure sticking tool. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sticking tool 1 is pushed through a compression spring 2 against a member to be stuck (pallet) 5 from the side of a peeling paper 4 in a double-side adhesive tape 3 so as to stick the double-side adhesive tape while moving. A pin 1a for guiding the peeling paper 4 is arranged at a predetermined position of the pressure sticking tool 1, and the peeling paper 4 is separated form the double-side adhesive tape 3 at the tip of the sticking tool 1 then led upward along the guide pin 1a. The tip of the peeling paper 4 is held by a holder 6 and looseness thereof is absorbed through a tension roller 7. Consequently, the peeling paper 4 is peeled off as the pressure sticking device 1 moves thus sticking only the double-side adhesive tape 3 onto a pallet 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect the inside surface of a casing from corrosion, facilitate replacement of the liner, and reduce the cost of manufacture by pushing the end face of the inner with a tapered surface of a connecting piece, putting the liner in pressure contact with the inner surface of casing, and thereby holding the liner solidly with the casing. CONSTITUTION:A groove 13 is formed at the inner surface of a casing 5, and a connecting piece 12 is fitted in this groove, wherein said inner surface of casing has a form of overlapped cylinders. The end of this connecting piece 12 facing to inside the casing 5 has the sides in tapered surfaces (e) to connect with the cylindrical surfaces of the liner 9, and recesses (c), (d) on the sides are put in contact with the end face (a) and rear face (b) of the liner 9. The connecting piece 12 is screw fitted with a bolt 14 whose head is fixed at the external surface of the casing 5, and the bolt 14 is driven to draw out the connecting piece 12 outward the casing 5. Thereby the end face (a) of the liner 9 is pushed from the sides in the tangential direction so as to put the liner in pressure contact with the inner surface of the casing 5, and the inner surface of the liner 9 is faced to the rotor in connection with the tapered surface (e) of the connecting piece 12.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make precise measurement possible in case of measurement of the shape of an article such as out of roundness or the like, by jetting compressed air uniformly from a jetting member consisting of a porous material and fitting an object to be measured to this jetting member with a narrow gap between them to hold the objet to be measured in the stable state. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is supplied to an air chamber 11 provided in a supporting plate 7, which is supported freely rotatably on a base plate 10 through a thrust bearing 9, through an air path 12. Compressed air is jetted uniformly from the outside face of a part projected from the supporting plate 7. The outside diameter of a jetting member 8 is so determined that the inside diameter of a cylindrical object 1 to be measured whose center should be obtained is slightly larger than the outside diameter of the jetting member 8 and the object 1 to be measured can be fitted easily to the jetting member 8. Even if the gap between the inside circumferential face of the object 1 to be measured and the outside circumferential face of the jetting member 8 is not uniform, this ununiformity is corrected immediately, and the width of the gap is made uniform throughout the circumference. Thus, the center of the object 1 to be measured coincides with the center of the jetting member 8.
