Abstract:
The method provides a resolution conversion, without the distortion of an input image, using a line memory that can keep a whole picture precise. This method comprises a CPU (Central Processing Unit) (10), a scanning unit (20) which under the control of the CPU forms an analog image signal by scanning and converts that signal to digital image data, a signal processing unit (30) which restores the converted image data and performs decoding and encoding when accessed to the other system, a recording unit (40) which prints the restored image data white or black on screen under the control of the CPU, and a transmitting unit (50) which transmits or receives the image data to the other system.
Abstract:
The generation of pixels in bright or dark back ground of half tone is suppressed by error diffusion method so that quality of picture is improved and amount of image data is decreased. The method comprises the steps of: (A) scanning a manuscript and storing the pixel value on a buffer; (B) diffusing error due to adjacent pixels in a same process window to current pixel; (C) discriminating current pixel as white when error diffusion value is larger than a first threshold level, and otherwise as black; (D) discriminating current pixel as white when the error diffusion value is larger than a second threshold level; and (E) discriminating current piexel as black when the current error diffusion value is less than a third threshod level.
Abstract:
The edge of a letter is emphasized to increase decipherability and the image data is transmitted at high speed by a dithering method which uses wave dither matrix. The method comprises the steps of: (A) scanning a manuscript by pixel unit and storing the scanned data on a buffer; (B) deciding the local brightness difference of the current scan data; (C) discriminating edge by inspecting that the brightness difference is larger than local inverse value; (D) converting half tone to white when the brightness difference is larger than local inverse value and the current pixel is brighter than local brightness and otherwise converting to black; and (E) discriminating that current pixel is not edge when local brightness difference is less than local inverse value and coding the current pixel by binary code.
Abstract:
This method improves the possibilities for reading characters by comparing the brightness of center image elements and that of the partial means and by emphasizing boundary of character. The 1st step is to scan the input image element separately. The 2nd step is to calculate the max. & min. brightness value. The 3rd step is to output as white image in case the min. value is bigger than Tmax. The 4th step is to output the black image if the max. value is smaller than Tmin. The 5th step is to output white image in case the max. value is bigger than partial means else output black image. The 6th step is to finish when the scanning is completed, else return to the 1st step.

미리보기이미지 구현방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 미리보기이미지 구현방법은, 응용프로그램으로부터 입력되는 데이터를 종류별로 분류하는 단계, 분류된 데이터 종류별로 설정된 색재현 목표에 따라 입력되는 데이터의 색신호를 인쇄장치에서 사용되는 색신호로 변환하는 컬러 매칭 동작을 수행하는 단계 및 컬러 매칭 동작이 완료된 데이터에 대한 미리보기이미지를 생성하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 데이터의 종류별로 컬러 매칭된 데이터를 기초로 미리보기이미지를 구현함으로써 인쇄장치를 통해 인쇄한 인쇄물과 실질적으로 동일한 이미지를 보여줄 수 있다. 미리보기, 컬러매칭, 색수정
Abstract:
A halftone processing method of a printer using a tri-level printing, a printing method suitable for the same and a computer readable recording medium for storing a program suitable for the same are provided to prevent the overlap of dot patterns for two kinds of latent images. An image signal is inputted(S402). The image signal includes two kinds of colors. The halftone process of the image signal is performed by the first screen so that the dot pattern of the first color is obtained(S404). Thereafter, the halftone process of the image signal is performed by the second screen so that the dot pattern of the second color is obtained(S406). At this time, the first screen and the second screen have the complement relation. The first and second dot patterns are developed by a tri-level developing method so that an image with two kinds of colors is printed(S408).
