Abstract: PURPOSE: An adapter for receiving a small-sized disk is provided to be mounted in a cartridge where a 12cm disk is received, to receive disks with different sizes in the one cartridge, and to improve a cartridge compatibility. CONSTITUTION: An adapter(30) coupled with the first semicircular plate(32) has the second semicircular plate(34). The second semicircular plate(34) forms a circular hole for receiving a small-diameter disk(D). One end of the first semicircular plate(32) is coupled with the second semicircular plate(34) at a 180-degree rotation by a hinge pin(36). A hooking end(32a) and a hooking groove(34a) are formed between the first and the second semicircular plates(32, 34). On an outer circumference of the adapter(30), a movement prevention unit is set. The movement prevention unit is a tension projector(38) for closely adhering the adapter(30) to an inner wall of the cartridge. The tension projector(38) is projected on external circumferences of the first and the second semicircular plates(32, 34). Detachment prevention units are upper/lower supports(40, 42) projected on inner circumferences of the first and the second semicircular plates(32, 34) formed with a circular hole.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cartridge for receiving a disk having a shutter to be opened and shut in left/right directions is provided to mount the shutter to receive a turn table for setting and chucking the disk and a chucking clamp, or to directly set the disk on the turn table, so as to improve a cartridge compatibility. CONSTITUTION: When a disk is received on back side of a cartridge case by opening a hinge-coupled cover(40), the disk is supported by the first and the second arc ribs(16, 42) that are molded on upper/lower plates(12. 14) and the cover(40). If a cartridge is inserted into a recording player, the cartridge case is inserted along a guide rail of the recording player. The second slide groove(10c) formed on both walls of the cartridge case is inserted into a shutter open/shut member(50), and a shutter open projector(30) moves in back direction along a guide hole by an insertion force of the cartridge case. A flexible wire(28) is pulled by the movement of the shutter open projector(30). A slide projector(24) connected with one end of the flexible wire(28) moves along the first slide groove(10a). The first and the second shutters(20, 22) become open in both directions to move to the first and the second coating grooves(12c).
