PURPOSE: A method for treating non-access stratum(NAS) of mobile communication system is provided to safely and efficiently perform security, mobility, and session management. CONSTITUTION: An UE(user equipments)(110) is placed inside a cell which is service area of eNB(evolved Node Base station)(112). A MME(Mobility Management Entity)(114) is able to manage mobility of UE using UE and NAS protocol message through eNB. The NAS protocol message comprises protocol classifier, classifier extension. The protocol classifier classifies ESM(Evolved Session Management) message, EMM(EPS Mobility Management) message, or protocol classifier extension.
Abstract:
A handover apparatus and method in a different wireless communication network are provided to perform handover on a call when an LTE/SAE system and a CS system cannot be simultaneously connected. A CS(Circuit Switching) interface(312) transmits/receives data and a control signal to/from a CS network. An LTE/SAE(Long Term Evolution/Service Architecture Evolution interface)(313) transmits/receives data and a control signal to/from an LTE/SAE network. An IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) interface(314) transmits/receives data and a control signal to/from an IMS network. When handover to a BS(Base Station) of the CS network by a terminal via the CS interface, a controller(311) controls to request handover from the BS of the CS network to establish a radio link, establish an IP bearer, request a counterpart terminal communicating with the terminal via the LTE/SAE interface to change a destination of a call management unit with respect to a currently established call to establish an IP bearer between the call management unit and the counterpart terminal, and provide traffic received via the LTE/SAE interface to a bearer established with the base station of the CS network via the CS interface.

A domain transfer method for a VCC(Voice Call Continuity) service and a system therefor are provided to enable a VCC AS(Application Server) to select a progressing access call leg as a target exactly, for which the VCC AS will perform domain transfer when domain transfer from a CS network to an IMS(Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) network or domain transfer from the IMS network to the CS network is requested, thereby providing stably the VCC service. A domain transfer method for a VCC service and a system therefor comprises the following steps of: allowing a UE(User Equipment)(201) to transmit an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) INVITE message requesting a voice call through an IMS network to a VCC AS(211) supporting the VCC service(215~227); allowing the VCC AS to respond to the SIP INVITE message and allocate a call reference number for the IMS voice call; allowing the VCC AS to transmit a response message including the call reference number to a UE and providing the voice call between the UE and the VCC AS(231~241); allowing the UE to transmit a CS(Circuit Switched) SETUP message including the call reference number to the VCC AS through a CS domain, to which the UE belongs, for requesting the CS voice call through a CS network during the voice call(243,247); allowing the VCC AS to select the call leg of the IMS voice call corresponding to the call reference number by using the call reference number included in the CS SETUP message and transfer the call leg to the CS network from the IMS network(271); and providing the voice call between the UE and the VCC AS through the CS network when the domain transfer is completed(295,299).
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for providing a non-subscription based service according to performance of UE(User Equipment) in an IMS(Internet Multimedia Subsystem) are provided to supply the non-subscription based service needing no special user profile in the IMS, supply services according to performance of the UE, and more efficiently and elastically using an iFC(initial Filter Criteria) by using the iFC included to the user profile of the UE. When registering UE(User Equipment) in an IMS(Internet Multimedia Subsystem) domain, performance information of the UE is received from the UE. A service profile(301) including at least one iFC(initial Filter Criteria)(303) for designating an application service for processing services for the UE is obtained and stored. A temporal iFC(304) for designating an application server of a non-subscription based service is generated according to the performance information and added to the service profile. When a call signal(310) related to the UE is received, the call signal is processed by applying at least one iFC and temporal iFC of the service profile.
Abstract:
A method and a system for delivering performance information of a terminal in an Internet protocol multimedia sub-system network are provided to process performance information between terminals in an Internet protocol multimedia sub-system network. The first SIP(session initialization protocol) message transmitted from a calling terminal is received(S801). The performance information of the calling terminal is obtained from the first SIP message. The second SIP message including the performance information is created by using the first SIP message. The second SIP message including the performance information is transmitted to a called terminal through a MGCF(media gateway control function part). The performance information of the calling terminal is extracted from the first SIP message.
