광대역 음성 코덱 적용 가능한 유무선통합 단말장치가 개시된다. 유무선통합 단말장치는 네트워크 연결을 위한 통신부, 및 통신부를 통해 상대 단말장치와의 호 설정시 호 제어 서버로부터 상대 단말장치의 광대역 음성 코덱과 동일한 코덱을 다운로드하는 제어부를 포함한다. 이에 의해 고품질의 음성 통화가 가능해진다.

PURPOSE: A packet route management apparatus, voice communication system based on the Internet, and voice quality guarantee method are provided to prevent packet delay and packet loss by processing VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) voice packets in real time. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(2000) collects bandwidth information and the address information of a packet route apparatus. A control unit(2010) determines the bandwidth availability of the packet route apparatus by using the collected address information and bandwidth information. The control unit establishes a packet route which transmits voice packets according to determination results. A database(2020) stores the bandwidth information and the address information of the packet apparatus.

PURPOSE: A set-top box and wideband voice internet phone service supplying method using the same are provided to implement a wideband voice internet phone service through wideband voice codec. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(210) transmits and receives a broadcasting signal or an internet phone signal. A connection processing unit(220) outputs the broadcasting signal or the internet phone signal. A wideband voice processing unit(260) converts the internet phone signal into a voice signal through a wideband voice codec. The wideband voice processing unit converts the inputted voice signal into the internet phone signal.

A communication terminal for the Internet phone call to which a wideband voice codec is applied and an Internet phone call method thereof are provided to improve the speech quality of the Internet phone call by decoding a wideband voice signal received from the Internet and then encoding a wideband voice signal inputted through a microphone. An interface unit(300) is connected to the Internet through a cable or wirelessly. A wideband voice signal IO unit(310) decodes a received wideband voice signal through a wideband voice codec, and encodes a wideband voice signal inputted through a microphone. An application processor(320) controls the interface unit and voice signal IO unit for the Internet transmission of the encoded signal.

PURPOSE: A communication terminal unit for a wired/wireless Internet phone is provided to offer a voice phone function and an Internet access function for free or at a very low cost through an Internet network. CONSTITUTION: A reset unit(11) supplies a power input reset signal and a switch reset signal to a communication service controller(10). A memory unit(16) stores a start program or a terminal unit operating program. A VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) transmitter/receiver(201) performs a transmitter/receiver function. A key pad/LCD(19) performs an external input/output function. A POTS(Plain Old Telephone Service) phone(181) is an analog phone used by being connected to a PSTN. A POTS connector(18) communicates with the communication service controller(10) through a transmission reception clock signal, a frame synchronous signal, a transmission data signal and a reception data signal. A DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) connector(17) transmits and receives analog data and converts it into digital data according to DSL standards. An Ethernet physical layer connector(15) performs a physical layer connection function of 10 Base-T or 100 Base-T Ethernet. A wireless connector(14) converts a received analog signal into 10-bit digital data and inputs it to the communication service controller(10). An EIA232 connector(13) is connected to a terminal providing an Internet access service function through an EIA232 port. The communication service controller(10) is connected to each element, processes protocols according to a communication method of each element and performs a function of a communication terminal by hardware and software.

PURPOSE: A communication service control system and a complex communication terminal apparatus for interfacing a digital subscriber line using the system are provided to offer a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) function, a super speed Internet connection function, a home network connection function and an Ethernet connection function to a remote subscriber connected directly to a network side DSL(Digital Subscriber line) processing device in a DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer). CONSTITUTION: A reset and clock unit(202) is connected to a local bus and then performs a function for supplying a power input reset signal and a switch reset input signal to a communication service controller(204) for the necessary time. Also, the reset and clock unit(202) provides clocks of 12MHz, 2.048MHz, and 25MHz required to the terminal apparatus. The clocks is inputted to the communication service controller(204), divided, become double and then provided to the respective devices. An input/output unit(201) is connected to the local bus and performs a function that is connected with an external input/output device. A memory unit(203) is connected to the local bus and stores a starting program or a terminal apparatus operating program. An USB(Universal Serial Bus) connection unit(205) is connected to the communication service controller(204) and also connected to a connection device having a USB port such as a computer, a camera and a monitor etc. with 12Mbps speed. A network connection unit(206) can be connected to a HomePNA(Home Phone line Network Alliance) or an Ethernet. A VoIP connection unit(207) performs functions for producing a tone necessary for a telephone function and converting digital/analog into analog/digital.

PURPOSE: A device for multiplexing an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) cell of a subscriber multiplexing interface module in a DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) is provided to multiplex ATM processing units one more time so that many DSL subscribers can be included, and to be installed in a switching system to perform a control operation in a maintenance control module. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(41) supplies a control signal to a local bus, and communicates with an upper processor using a control cell. A clock signal interface unit(42) supplies a clock signal through the local bus, and supplies a module timing clock to an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) processing unit. A state interface unit(43) stores state information of the ATM processing unit, to be delivered through the local bus. A lower link interface unit(44) performs interface of received data and decoding/coding. A lower link controller(45) converts a received cell for storing in a received cell FIFO(First-In First-Out), or converts a cell stored in a transmission FIFO for delivery to the lower link interface unit(44). A trasnceiving cell multiplexer(46) reads out cells stored in each received cell FIFO for multiplexing, and demultiplexes a cell inputted from a transmission cell processor(48) for storing in each transmission cell FIFO of a corresponding link. A receiving cell processor(47) processes a cell multiplexed by the trasnceiving cell multiplexer(46). The transmission cell processor(48) processes a cell to be transmitted, for delivering to the transceiving cell multiplexer(46).
