    Abstract: PURPOSE: Structure for applying an electric current to a steering device is provided to smoothly supply electricity to an air bag and a multifunctional switch even if a part of a steering device is made of plastic. CONSTITUTION: A cathode current of an air bag, a horn or a multifunctional switch is communicated to an upper shaft(108) and a lower shaft(110). The cathode current transferred to a lower bearing(111) via the lower shaft is transferred to a lower tube via a bearing cover(1) between the lower bearing and the lower tube. The cathode current is transferred by an insulator passing unit. The insulating passing unit is a metal plate(3) contacting to the lower tube. Therefore, electricity is smoothly supplied to the air bag, the horn or the multifunctional switch even when electric connection is released.

CONSTITUTION: A tilting hinge of a suspension for a vehicle comprises a tilt bracket(20), covering the upper and lower column divided to vertically control the angle of a steering column(S); a tilt lever, fixed to the upper and lower column of the steering column, to be slid, and matched to a moving gear member; and hinge operation members(30), forming a hinge point(K) in case of vertical control, with installed between the tilt bracket and the steering column. The hinge operation members are penetrated from the outside of the tilt bracket to the steering column and are coupled with screw holes of the tilt bracket. Accordingly, assembling is finished through just a process and the weight is reduced.

CONSTITUTION: A hub core(5) of a rim(1) is integrally connected to a rod(2a) of a body(2) through a T-shaped coupler(4). A cover layer(6) is made of PVC(poly vinyl chloride) or PU(poly urethane), and the cover layer is surrounded with a wood cover(7) and a leather cover(8). Protrusions(4a) are formed in the surface of the T-shaped coupler to cover the connection portion of the wood cover and the leather cover. Contraction is prevented by fitting ends of the wood cover and the leather cover to protrusions in changing humidity or temperature. The lowering of appearance is restricted by preventing the gap between the wood cover and the leather cover.
