Abstract:
A device for separating a hood latch of a vehicle is provided to prevent passengers from being injured by allowing the hood latch to be separate from a front end module. A device for separating a hood latch of a vehicle comprise a servo motor(10), which operates in case of vehicle hood collision, a chine(20) interlocked with the servo motor, first and second plates(30,40) interlocked with the inner peripheral surface of the chain while moving in a opposite directions, and an insulator(50). The insulator includes one end portion coupled to the hood latch and an opposite end portion locked between the first plate and the second plate. The chain and the first and second plates include teeth(32,42). The first and second plates include teeth formed on opposite sides thereof.
Abstract:
A front end module carrier structure is provided to prevent the lowering of stiffness and to improve design accuracy by fastening an upper member reinforced by a reinforcing member with a front end module lower carrier, to reduce working hours and work man-hour by increasing maintainability of a vehicle's cooling system and to secure a space in a layout of an engine room easily. The front end module carrier structure comprises a front end module lower carrier(1) provided with a horizontal portion(1a) extended in the widthwise direction of a vehicle, right and left side portions(1b) extended in the vertical direction from two ends of the horizontal portion, an open portion(1c) formed at the center by the horizontal portion and the right and left side portions and open portions(1d) formed on the right and left side portions, and manufactured with plastics by injection molding and inserted with a steel reinforcing member(1e) to enhance the structural stiffness, an upper member(2) manufactured with steel to have a C-shaped cross section, provided with two fastening holes(2a) and coupled on the upper part of the front end module lower carrier, and a reinforcing member(3) formed in the rectangular shape to have many holes longitudinally at regular intervals, folded upward in the L-shape from two ends to have two fastening holes to assemble bolts and enhancing the stiffness of the upper member.
