Abstract: The present invention relates to a catalytic material for the preparation of one or more of 4,4′-methylenedianiline, 2,2′-methylenedianiline, 2,4′-methylenedianiline, and oligomers of two or more thereof, the catalytic material comprising an oxidic support, wherein the oxidic support comprises an element EOS1 selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Al, Si, and mixtures of two or more thereof, and further comprising a supported material supported on the oxidic support, wherein the supported material comprises an element ESM1 selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Ta, Mo, W, Ge, Sn, Sc, Y, La, Ce, Nd, Pr, Hf, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu Zn, Pb and mixtures of two or more thereof. Further, the present invention relates in particular to a process for the preparation of a catalytic material and to a process for the preparation of one or more of 4,4′-methylenedianiline, 2,2′-methylenedianiline, 2,4′-methylenedianiline and oligomers of two or more thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing a zeolitic material having a framework type FER and having a framework structure comprising silicon, aluminum, and oxygen, said process comprising (i) preparing an aqueous synthesis mixture comprising water; a zeolitic material having a framework type other than FER and having a framework structure comprising silicon, aluminum, and oxygen; a source of silicon other than the zeolitic material having a framework type other than FER; an organic structure directing agent comprising piperidine; a source of an alkali metal; and a source of a base; (ii) subjecting the aqueous synthesis mixture prepared according to (i) to hydrothermal synthesis conditions comprising heating the synthesis mixture to a temperature in the range of from 140 to 190° C. and keeping the synthesis mixture at a temperature in this range under autogenous pressure, obtaining a mother liquor comprising a solid material which comprises the zeolitic material having a framework type FER.

Abstract: A process for preparing an aluminum-free boron containing zeolitic material comprising the framework structure MWW (BMWW), comprising (a) hydrothermally synthesizing the BMWW from a synthesis mixture containing water, a silicon source, a boron source, and an MWW template compound obtaining the BMWW in its mother liquor, the mother liquor having a pH above 9; (b) adjusting the pH of the mother liquor, obtained in (a) and containing the BMWW, to a value in the range of from 6 to 9; (c) separating the BMWW from the pH-adjusted mother liquor obtained in (b) by filtration in a filtration device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to A process for the production of a molding, comprising (I) providing a zeolitic material; (II) mixing the zeolitic material provided in step (I) with one or more binders; (III) kneading of the mixture obtained in step (II); (IV) molding of the kneaded mixture obtained in step (III) to obtain one or more moldings; (V) drying of the one or more moldings obtained in step (IV); and (VI) calcining of the dried molding obtained in step (V); wherein the zeolitic material provided in step (I) displays a water adsorption ranging from 1 to 15 wt.-% when exposed to a relative humidity of 85%, as well as to a molding obtainable or obtained according to the inventive process in addition to a molding per se and to their respective use.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of a boron-containing zeolitic material having an MWW framework structure comprising YO2 and B2O3, wherein Y stands for a tetravalent element, wherein said process comprises (a) providing a mixture comprising one or more sources for YO2, one or more sources for B2O3, one or more organotemplates, and seed crystals, (b) crystallizing the mixture obtained in (a) for obtaining a layered precursor of the boron-containing MWW-type zeolitic material, (c) calcining the layered precursor obtained in (b) for obtaining the boron-containing zeolitic material having an MWW framework structure, wherein the one or more organotemplates have the formula (I): R1R2R3N, wherein R1 is (C5-C8)cycloalkyl, and wherein R2 and R3 are independently from each other H or alkyl, as well as to a synthetic boron-containing zeolite which is obtainable and/or obtained according to the inventive process as well as to its use.
