    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a simple method for determining the quantity of lipid, which is suitable for determining the lipid having amphipatic property forming a aggregate in aqueous medium. CONSTITUTION:A sample s treated in aqueous medium with surface active agent. Bivalent copper ions and bicinchoninic acid are made to react. When the lipid is present, the coloration state accompanied by the formation of the complex compound caused by the reaction of univalent copper ions formed from the bivalent copper ions and bicinchoninic acid is measured by measuring the absorbance at 562nm. The concentration of the liquid is computed by the expression of lipid concentration=absorbance/C by using a concentration constant C obtained from reference liquid by the same operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title tester easy to make, also simple in measuring operation using the same, low in its making and measuring costs, also good in measurement sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:A measuring base material such as filter paper is immersed in a solution containing an ATP-degrading enzyme, molybdic acid and ascorbic acid followed by lyophilization to effect adsorption and immobilization of these components onto the base material. On reaction between the resultant base material and an ATP-contg. solution, blue color reaction will occur due to molybdenum blue formation, the degree of the color development being proportional to ATP concentration. Taking advantage of this color reaction, the ATP concentration in a sample can readily be determined.

CONSTITUTION:A specific position in membrane protein is modified to a carrier and a salt solution containing the said membrane protein and membrane lipid is prepared, then the said salt solution is subjected to freezing and thawing thus dialyzed to a solution of salts having an osmotic pressure lower than the said salt solution to afford the objective liposome. Besides, further the membrane protein is preferably dissociated from the carrier after dialysis. Furthermore, preferably, shape of the said carrier is spherical and the size is equivalent or larger than the diameter of the formed liposome.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an ink which has excellent water resistance and is free from bleeding on a recording material having exposed fibers, and has excellent fixability and which comprises a water-soluble pigment, an aq. liq. medium capable of dissolving the pigment, and a particular compd. having a three- dimensional structure. CONSTITUTION:A desired ink is obtd. by adding a compd. with a three- dimensional structure having an MW of at least 100 and having pores therewithin to an ink for ink jet recording which comprises a water-soluble pigment as a component capable of forming an image and, as another component, an aq. liq. capable of dissolving the pigment. Representative examples of the compd. with a three-dimensional structure include deoxycholic acid, natural valinomycin antibiotics, and phenylurea oligomers. The aforesaid compd. is added in an amt. of 0.1-20wt.% based on the total wt. of the ink. When the amt. of the compd. is less than 0.1wt.%, any advantageous effect cannot be exhibited with respect to the fixability, printing quality and ejection stability improvement. On the other hand, an amount of larger than 20wt.% unfavorably brings about an increase in the viscosity of the ink and the clogging.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a recording having excellent fastnesses, especially, water resistance by altering the aqueous soluble group of aqueous soluble dye by oxidizing to aqueous nonsoluble group to be fixed on a material to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:Ink using aqueous soluble de is adhered on a material to be recorded to record by an ink jet type. Since the ink is of dissolution type, an ink supply passage and a nozzle are not clogged. After the ink is adhered to the surface to be recorded, the aqueous nonsoluble group to be fixed. Thus, a recorded material which has excellent water resistance is obtained. The dye preferable uses aqueous soluble dye, such as soluble vat dye, soluble sulfide dye, leuco salt of vat dye, leuco slat of sulfide dye, oxide dye, etc.
