Abstract: Une lentille ophtalmique présente une surface complexe ayant un centre optique, une croix de montage (CM) située à 4mm au dessus du centre optique, une méridienne présentant une addition de puissance entre des points de référence en vision de loin (VL) et en vision de près (VP). La surface complexe présente une différence de sphère moyenne normalisée à l'addition sur la méridienne, entre le centre géométrique du verre et le point de contrôle en vision de loin, inférieure ou égale à 0,1 ; une longueur de progression inférieure ou égale à 14mm ; un rebond de la quantité sphère normalisée à l'addition sur un cercle de rayon 20mm centré sur le centre géométrique de la lentille inférieur à 0,11 et une pente maximum de la variation de sphère normalisée à l'addition le long de la méridienne comprise entre 0,09 et 0,11 mm .La lentille est adaptée à une vision de loin élargie avec une bonne accessibilité à la vision de près.

Abstract: The invention relates to a progressive ophthalmic lens and to a method of producing one such lens. Variations in the optical power and the astigmatism of a progressive ophthalmic lens (10) result from (i) spherical and cylindrical variations in the anterior face (2) of the lens and (ii) variations in another physical unit of the lens. In this way, it is possible to customise the design of the progressive lens as a function of at least one behavioural characteristic of the lens wearer. Said customisation can be repeated by modulating the values of the physical unit between the different points of the lens. As a result, progressive lenses with different designs can be obtained from identical semi-finished lenses. The physical unit can comprise the sphere and the cylinder of the posterior face of the lens (3).

For this purpose, the invention defines an ergorama associating with each sight direction in worn conditions a target object point, and a given power. This ergorama supplies a power target for a definition by optimisation of the lenses, and is used in a radii plotting programme for calculating the optical characteristics during optimisation. The set of lenses has substantially identical optical performances for a given addition, whatever the power of the far vision reference point.

Abstract: L'invention a pour objet un jeu de lentilles ophtalmiques multifocales progressives, présentant chacune une première surface multifocale progressive et une deuxième surface de préférence sphérique. Elle propose de définir le jeu de lentilles en considérant les caractéristiques optiques des lentilles, et notamment la puissance porteur et l'astigmatisme oblique, dans les conditions du porté. Pour cela, l'invention définit un ergorama associant à chaque direction du regard dans les conditions du porté un point objet visé, et une puissance donnée. Cet ergorama fournit une cible de puissance pour une définition par optimisation des lentilles, et est utilisé dans un programme de tracé de rayons pour calculer les caractéristiques optiques au cours de l'optimisation. Le jeu de lentilles selon l'invention présente des performances optiques sensiblement identiques pour une addition donnée, quelle que soit la puissance au point de référence de la vision de loin.
