    Abstract: PURPOSE:To check double addresses without a special protocol in accordance with easy procudures by providing a slave station of a loop communication system with a means, which receives all frames directed to the address of this slave station itself, and ameans which detects a master station or another slave station from which frames are transmitted. CONSTITUTION:Each slave station receives an input signal by a receiving part 11, and the received signal is sent to a control part 13 and a switch circuit 14. The signal from the receiving part 11 is inputted to the control part 13; and if the value of an address field 7 coincides with the address of the slave station itself, this frame is taken in, and a command is identified, and a signal responding to this command is outputted to the switch circuit 14. The control part 13 controls the switch circuit 14 so that the switch circuit 14 sends the response signal from the control part 13 to a transmitting part 12 when the response signal is outputted from the control part 13 and the switch circuit 14 sends signals from the receiving part 11 to the transmitting part 12 otherwise. The address of the slave station which transmits the response signal is put in the address field 7 of the response signal, and the response is put in a control field 8.
