Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a rootcrop harvester mechanized to the utmost designed to improve harvesting work by hand, a sort of heavy labor to pull rootcrops off the field in a posture with the body bent down. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a draw section to pull up a rootcrop by gripping the leaves with a pair of the fronts of a conveyer belt risen backward and a conveying device made up of the rear of a pair of conveyer belts 11 and a pair of roller belts 15 under the belts 11 and to convey a rootcrop backward by gripping and conveying the upper part of the leaves through the belts 11 while gripping the lower part of the leaves with rollers 14 and drivenly guiding it, the risen backward angle of the roller belts 15 is made milder than the slope of the conveyer belts; after contact of the upper face of a rootcrop body with the rollers 14, the leaf-gripping force of the pair of the rears of the conveyer belts is set so as to allow the rootcrop to slidingly move downward off the conveyer belts 11.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow an adhesive take applying mechanism to b freely movable by providing an actuator for compressed air for driving a packing apparatus which drops an object to be packed together with a wrapping sheet into an opening hole to gather the sheet and fix with an adhesive tape to reciprocate over an applying position and a retreat position. CONSTITUTION:An object A to be packed is dropped from an opening 2a of a wrapping table 2 onto a support table 3 while being slightly wrapped in a wrapping sheet 1 and held by a holding arm 18 to be lowered. A gathering member 11 surrounds the object A at this position to gather the sheet 1, and further compressed air is removed so that an air cylinder contracts to hold an upper part of the wrapping sheet 1 to fully wrap the object. After an excess of the upper part is cut by a disk cutter, an adhesive tape 4 is pressed so that the tape 4 is securely sealed on the wrapping sheet 1. Then holding arms 18 open right and left, the compressed air is removed and the support table 3 is pushed down sideways while being lowered, so that a support frame is returned to an original retreat position and the object A is discharged.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an end of a rolled part of a wrapping sheet from rolling up and permit it to be held by providing a float preventing member for suppressing roll-up of the end of a rolled part cut by a cutter of a wrapping apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cylindrical support rollers 5 are rotatably supported on a lateral side of a wrapping table 2, while a transparent wrapping sheet 1 is rolled in a roll and mounted on the support roller 5. A guide plate 37 is provided between a cutter 12 and the support roller 5, wherein an end 1b of the wrapping sheet 1 on the side of the support roller 5 is mounted on an upper face of the support roller 5 with plate springs fixed to both ends of the guide plate 37 extended toward the support roller 5, so that the pair of plate springs slightly regulate the rotation of the support roller 5. When cutting of the wrapping sheet 1 is completed, the cutter 12 retreats upward and an end of the wrapping sheet 1 is pressed by a float preventing member 41, thereby allowing the end 1b to be held without trouble.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an adhesive tape from adhering to other frames, etc., when the adhesive tape which is cut by a specified length is carried to an object to be packaged by forming an upper tape pinching member into a concave form, and a lower tape pinching member into a convex form. CONSTITUTION:As a device to pull out a tape to be adhered 4 by pinching and carry to an object to be packaged, the packaging device is equipped with an upper tape pinching member 10 and lower tape pinching member 12. The lower tape pinching member 12 is a freely rotatable roller the center of which is swollen, and the outer surface has a convex shape which curves in the almost orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction of the adhesive tape 4. The upper tape pinching member 10 is formed of a rubber material, and is attached a supporting plate 19 made of a metal, and the lower surface 10a has a concave shape which curves in the almost orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction of the adhesive tape. Therefore, when the leading end of the adhesive tape 4 is pinched by the upper and lower pinching member 10, 12, the adhesive tape 4 is curved upward, and by this curve, a shape holding function is assigned to the adhesive tape 4 itself, and the adhesive tape 4 becomes hard to fluctuate in the vertical direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily draw out the end of a packing sheet and to make the end to be inserted easily between a cutter and a support table by a method wherein a support stand capable of being switched over between two position for supporting temporarily the packing sheet body for working and for housing the same is provided to position opposite to support parts that support the packing sheet body rotatively. CONSTITUTION:A drawer table 10, equipped with support parts 5 for supporting a packing sheet 1 body on the side of a packing table 2, a drawing mechanism that draws out the packing sheet 1, and a support table 12 that can be switched over between two position, one for work position for supporting temporarily the packing sheet 1 body and the other for position for housing the packing sheet body, are provided. The body of the packing sheet 1 is supported temporarily with the support table 12, and the end 1b of the packing sheet is drawn out while the body is rotated and is passed between the drawer table 10 and a cutter 7. As the support table 12 is placed in a position opposite to the cutter 7, the distance between the two members can be maintained sufficiently. Thereby, work for making the end of a new packing sheet go through can be made easily, improving efficiency in replacement of the packing sheet, and at the same time workability cannot be declined as the support table 12 can be hosed.

When the light is detected by all light-receivers 32b, it is judged that the article A has passed through the position of the photo-sensor 32 or the position of a holding member 14 and the lifting mechanism 9 is stopped. Then a pair of holding members 14 are closed to each other so as to wring the upper part 1a of the packing sheet 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effect an accurate packaging by a method wherein, when an article such as cabbage is dropped into a hole in a packaging stand, it is received and supported by a supporting stand below while being wrapped in a packaging sheet and the upper part of the packaging sheet is pressed closely sideways by a compressing mechanism so as to be constricted. The upper part 1a of the packaging sheet 1 having the article A wrapped therein on the supporting stand 3 is pressed closely sideways between a pair of compressing arms 17 of a constriction mechanism so as to be constricted and the part of the packaging sheet above this constricted part is cut off by the action of a pair of the left and right disk cutters 28 of a cutting mechanism 26. A pressure-sensitive tape 4 is thereafter applied to the upper end part of the constricted part of the packaging sheet 1 by a tape attaching mechanism consisting of a retaining arm and a pressing arm to fix firmly the packaging sheet 1.
