Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication by a dual-mode wireless device supporting communications using a first radio access technology and a second wireless technology. An example method generally includes identifying a transmit power for transmitting a signal to a receiving device operating on the second radio access technology, identifying a time-frequency resource for transmitting the signal to the receiving device based, at least in part, on the identified transmit power and time-frequency resources used for transmission by devices operating on the first radio access technology, and transmitting a signal to the receiving device using the second radio access technology based, at least in part, on the identified transmit power using the identified time-frequency resource.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first UE may perform a sensing procedure to identify that a first sidelink resource is available. The first UE may select the first sidelink resource for transmitting a first message and one or more remaining sidelink resources for transmitting one or more additional messages. The first UE may transmit the first message via the first sidelink resource to a second UE, the first message indicating a reservation and a resource utilization probability vector for the remaining sidelink resources. The resource utilization probability vector may include the resource utilization probabilities for each sidelink resource. The second UE may select a first sidelink resource of the remaining sidelink resources or a second sidelink resource for transmitting a sidelink message based on the resource utilization probability vector, and may transmit the sidelink message to the first UE in the selected sidelink resource.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may identify a limited detection range, such as a Line of Sight (LoS) blockage or reduced coverage. The UE may request inter-vehicle assistance from a centralized control entity to overcome this limitation. The UE may transmit an indication of a set of target objects tracked by a sensor at the UE and a level of accuracy for tracking the set of target objects. In turn, the centralized control entity may request sensor information from one or more UEs with a complete LoS, a larger coverage area, or both. Based on the available sensor information, the centralized control entity may collect and transmit the sensor information back to the first UE in response to the request for assistance.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for radar target tracking based on return signal strength. A wireless device, such as a radar device, may measure a received signal strength of a detected signal. The received signal strength may be associated with at least one bin of a radar image. The wireless device may compare the received signal strength to a filtered signal strength. The filtered signal strength may be associated with a threshold difference in signal strength from the filtered signal strength. The wireless device may track the at least one bin of the radar image in response to the received signal strength being less than or equal to the threshold difference in signal strength from the filtered signal strength.

A sensing device may monitor one or more frequencies of the shared radio frequency spectrum band and may receive signaling indicating access information (e.g., automated frequency control information). The access information may indicate one or more frequencies of the shared radio frequency spectrum band that are accessible for the sensing device. The scheduling device may obtain the access information from an access point, local storage media, or the like. In some examples, the scheduling device may transmit signaling indicating the accessible frequencies based on a request message from the sensing device. The sensing device may receive the access information and may communicate on one or more of the indicated frequencies accordingly.

A transmitting device and a receiving device may communicate sidelink messages of a second radio access technology (RAT) using a sidelink resource pool signaled using a first RAT. For example, the receiving UE may receive a sidelink control channel associated with the first RAT (e.g., Long Term Evolution (LTE)), may determine a set of time and frequency resources indicated by the sidelink control channel, and then may monitor the set of time and frequency resources to receive a sidelink message associated with the second RAT (e.g., New Radio (NR)). In some implementations, the set of time and frequency resource may be indicated that they may be used for the second RAT via a field in the sidelink control channel or via an additional sidelink message associated with the second RAT transmitted with the sidelink control channel.
