Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of synchronizing a frequency even when the oscillation frequency of an oscillator is changed and continuously holding the synchronization of a carrier. SOLUTION: When the base station 5 of a communicating party changes, in order to change the oscillation frequency of a reference frequency oscillator 23 according to stipulation, the base station changes and frequency change signals S21 for reporting that the frequency is to be changed are generated and outputted to the control part 48 of a GPS base band part 4. The control part 48 operates a synchronization holding part 47 separately in three loop units which are a loop unit group for the frequency f under synchronization at the time and the loop unit groups for the frequencies f±Δfs for ±changes in the case of not receiving the frequency change signals S21, and operates the synchronization holding part 47 separately in two loop units of the loop unit groups for the frequencies f±Δfs for the ±changes excluding the band of the frequency f under the synchronization in the case of receiving the frequency change signals S21. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for a positioning satellite signal that can more quickly and accurately search synchronization acquisition of a positioning satellite signal. SOLUTION: The receiver has a high speed mode wherein a substantial phase change width of a spread code of a receiver side is great and a high sensitivity mode wherein the substantial phase change width is small in the case of performing synchronization acquisition of the spread code of a received signal by detecting a correlation between the spread code of the received signal from a satellite and the spread code at the receiver side while substantially changing the phase of the spread code at the receiver side. The receiver is provided with a mode changeover operation means for receiving a changeover selective operation between the high speed mode and the high sensitivity mode. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the data of a large capacitance into a packet of a prescribed standard and to smoothly transmit/receive it, by generating the transmission packet by adding the label of self-designation to read data through a present node, and sending it to a serial interface. SOLUTION: Packet data from a host computer are sorted by a physical layer circuit 20 and when it is not a response packet, it is stored in an IFO 104 for asynchronous reception. The stored received data are inputted to a local processor 40 and according to ORB, a transaction layer circuit 120 is started. At a request packet generating circuit 122, data are requested to an HDD controller 30 and sent transmission data are divided into data more than one according to the SBP-2 standard and stored in an IFO 124 for request while adding a header. The request packet containing transfer data is sent to a link core 101 by a transaction controller 126 and transmitted through the physical layer circuit 20 to the host computer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a recording and reproducing device which quickly detects a servo pattern, pulls in a channel clock phase and quickly records and reproduces the data on a disk shaped recording medium. CONSTITUTION:In a channel clock forming device 2, channel clocks from a VCO 35 are N frequency divided by an N frequency division counter 36 while a lock-in is performed. The N frequency divided outputs are counted by a feedforward counter 38 and the count signals corresponding to the counted values are supplied to the VCO 35 through an adder 42. Thus, the oscillation frequency of the VCO 35 is swept, the lock-in by the channel clock is detected by a lock/unlock detection circuit 27 and the count value of the counter 38 is fixed.

CONSTITUTION:The recording and reproducing device consists of a phase locked loop which drives a VCO 35 that outputs a channel clock in accordance with a channel clock phase error (phase error detection data) against the detection data of servo patterns recorded with prescribed intervals on a magneto-optical disk 1. When the servo patterns are not detected due to the defect on the disk 1, a zero data output circuit 31 outputs zero data to the VCO 35 in place of the phase error detection data indicating that a phase error is zero.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a recording of recorded data by channel clocks formed from phase error detection data of the abnormal level due to a defect. CONSTITUTION:The recording and reproducing device has a phase locked loop which drives a VCO 35 that outputs channel clocks in accordance with the channel clock phase error (phase error detection data) against servo pattern detection data recorded in a magneto-optical disk 1 at a prescribed interval. During a recording of the recorded data, a comparator 31 is supplied with the phase error detection data and the limiting value data which indicate the limiting values of the phase error detection data from a phase difference limiting value output circuit 30. The comparator 31 supplies level exceeding data to an optical system 9 when the level of the phase error difference detection data becomes an abnormal level by the defect on the disk 1 and the recording of the recorded data is stopped.

CONSTITUTION:A read pulse is obtained in a pulse detecting circuit 162 by reproducing a frequency signal recorded under phase matching with a servo area which is continuous on the magnetic disk of a sector servo system in the radial direction of the disk. A defective sector defined as less than a prescribed number as a result of counting the read pulse is detected by a servo detecting circuit 163. Head positioning control is performed by a DSP 167 in obtaining a servo signal from the servo area of each sector excluding the defective sector.
