Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate polyester film comprising a modified layer having excellent easiness of adhesion, solvent resistance, alkali resistance and water resistance, by mixing specified amounts of a water-soluble or water- dispersible resin and a copolymer obtained by grafting a graft compound onto the resin in a specified range, applying the mixture to a polyester film by use of a crosslinking binder, then stretching the film and causing thermal crosslinking to provide the modified layer. CONSTITUTION:A laminate polyester film comprises, on at least one side of a polyester film, a crosslinked modified layer comprising as a main constituents a hydrophilic group-containing polyester resin A, a copolymer C obtained by grafting at least one compound B having an unsaturated bond to the resin A, and a crosslinking binder. The modified layer has a grafting degree of the copolymer C of 0.5-600% and a mixing ratio of the copolymer C to the resin A of 90/10-5/95. By this, a laminate polyester film can be provided which has excellent adhesion, solvent resistance, water resistance and alkali resistance.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance transparency, an easy slip property, easy adhesiveness and smoothness, by applying a water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic resin containing specific inorg. colloid to a polyester film to stretch said film and bringing the particle size of the inorg colloid particle and a lamination thickness to specific correlation. CONSTITUTION:Inorg. colloid contains 10 -10 atoms/one particle and is obtained as metal colloid, oxide colloid or hydroxide colloid according to an element. The average particle size thereof is pref. 0.11-0.4mum. A water- dispersible or water-soluble acrylic resin is based on alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate and pref. contains 30-90 mol.% of said main component and 70-10 mol.% of a vinyl monomer component copolymerizable therewith and having a functional group. The haze (turbidity) of the polyester film constituting this film is pref. 4.0% or less and the ratio D/d of the average particle size D of the inorg. colloid particle in a coating layer and the thickness (d) of said coating layer is set to 1.1-80.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve whiteness, color tone, cushionability or the like by providing a coating layer having a specific surface pH range on an uppermost layer of at least one surface side of a white polyester film containing a fluorescent whitening agent. SOLUTION: The composite film having excellent whiteness, a color name or the like and adapted to a printing acceptive base material comprises a coating layer having a surface pH of 4 to 7 on an uppermost layer of at least one surface side of a white polyester film containing a fluorescent whitening agent in such a manner that a color tone of a value obtained from a surface of the coating layer is set to a range of 1 to 3. In this case, the coating layer contains a copolymer having a sulfonic acid group and/or its salt in a molecule or contains a copolymer having an ammonium sulfonate salt in a molecule. The white polyester film has a layer containing at least one layer of fine bubbles, and the layer containing the bubbles is formed of a composition containing a polyester resin and a thermoplastic resin insoluble in the polyester resin as main components.

SOLUTION: This white laminated polyester film is composed of at least, two layers of a white polyester layer (A) and a white polyester layer (B), and has at least one projecting inflexion between 350-500 nm in curve of degree of total ray reflectivity, in the range of 350-700 nm measured from the white polyester layer (A) side, a peak reflectivity at the position of the inflexion point, is larger than the average reflectivity at least by 5% in the range of 500-700 nm.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the luminance and the quality stability, and also, improve the durability of the brightness, and the rigidity as well by a method wherein at least one layer of a composite film with two layers or more, is a layer containing fine air bubbles inside, and also, of which the total ray transmissivity, and the haze are respectively made specified values or higher. SOLUTION: A composite polyester film constituted of at least two layers is made a basic constitution, and this polyester film is constituted in such a manner that at least one layer wherein fine air bubbles are contained inside so that the total visible ray transmissivity in the thickness direction of the film may become 60% or higher, and the haze may become 50% or higher, is provided. Also, for the layer containing fine air bubbles inside, a polyester resin and a resin which is incompatible with the polyester resin are made major constituent components, and the layer containing fine air bubbles inside is obtained by forming voids for which the incompatible resin is made the core, by drawing the resins at least uniaxially, preferably biaxially, after a melting- extrusion. In this case, as the polyester resin, polyethylene terephthalate or the like can be used, and as the incompatible resin, a polyolefin resin can be used.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease in whiteness when used outdoor by providing a laminate film containing a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate as a main component at least on one side surface of a base material film containing a polyethylene terephthalate as a main component. SOLUTION: A base material film contains a polyethylene terephthalate as a main component. A laminate film containing a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate as a main component is provided at least on one side surface of the material film. Here, the main component means, for example, 80 wt.% or more of a resin component in the film and the laminate film. As other component, various copolymers of polyester except the main component. Further, to give whiteness, a white inorganic pigment is contained in the material film and/or the laminate film. Thus, durability of excellent whiteness can be performed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve antifouling properties by providing an antifouling layer on one of the faces of a fluororesin film and an adhesive layer on the other face. SOLUTION: A repair sheet is constructed by providing an anti-contamination layer on one of the faces of a fluororesin film and an adhesive layer on the other face. The adhesive layer side of this repair sheet in contact-bonded or thermally contact-bonded on the surface of an object to be repaired. The antifouling layer is formed of a chemical compound or resin such as fluorine, silicone or wax which causes water or oil repellent effects to the surface and further, surfactant or water resin which makes the surface hydrophilic and enhances an antistatic action or cleaning effects and a mixture of these components properly combined. Especially the layer is recommended which is made of a composition containing an inorganic hydrophilic colloid substance from the viewpoint of antifouling properties and durability. Thus it is possible to improve the antifouling properties.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent mechanical characteristics or particularly excellent strength and tear resistance as well as durability by laminating an ethylene tetrafluoride copolymerization resin film and a biaxially oriented polyester film via an adhesive layer. SOLUTION: An ethylene tetrafluoride copolymerization resin film and a biaxially oriented polyester film are laminated via an adhesive layer. A thickness of the resin film is not particularly limited, and its thickness can be set to a suitable range of about l to 50μm. The constituting polyester film is biaxially oriented, the thickness of the film is not particularly limited, and can be set to a suitable range of about 10 to 300μm. A thermally adhesive resin layer is formed of thermoplastic resin, a mixture of them or resin further added with low molecular weight paraffin. The layer is formed of adhesive resin in which when it is heated, it is melted, while when it is cooled, it is solidified.
