    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white laminated polyester film for the reflecting member of a surface light source excellent in reflecting characteristics and hiding performance. SOLUTION: The white laminated polyester film is obtained by disposing a white polyester layer (A) containing at least inorganic fine particles (a) on one face of a white polyester layer (B) containing fine bubbles and disposing a white polyester layer (C) containing at least inorganic fine particles (c) on the other face of the layer (B). The refractive indexes of the inorganic fine particles (a), the inorganic fine particles (c) and the polyester represented by na, nc and np, respectively, satisfy the relational expressions nc-na>0.2 and nc-np>0.2.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet with outstanding gradation properties by forming the sheet so that a temperature at which fusion starts on the surface of an image receiving layer and the surface wet tension show a specific value respectively, using a white plastic film orientated uniaxially, in the image receiving sheet receiving a thermally molten ink. SOLUTION: A white plastic film is used as a base material for the image receiving sheet which is best suited for melt-type thermal transfer recording and is preferably of such a type that it has a micro void internally. An image receiving layer formed on one of the faces of the white plastic film is formed in such a manner that the surface temperature at which fusion starts is 50-120 deg.C and the surface wet tension of the image receiving layer is 30-40 mH/m. In the addition, the image, receiving sheet shows a whiteness degree of 70% or more and an optical density of 0.5 or more. Further, the opposite face to the image receiving layer of the sheet is prepared so that the surface specific resistance of the opposite face is 10 Ω/square or less. Besides, a fluorine surfactant is contained in the image receiving layer to improve antiblocking properties.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the property of adhesion not only between a base material and a laminated film but also between the base material and a surface curable layer, and the durability by providing a laminate with the surface curable layer formed through a laminated film of a structure which is phase-separable in the thickness direction and also a mixed layer of each of layers formed in the separation interface. SOLUTION: In a laminate with a surface curable layer B formed through a laminated film a provided at least, on one of the faces of a polyester film, a phase-separable structure is provided in the thickness direction of the laminated film A, and a mixed layer of each of the layers is formed in a separation interface. The preferable structure of the polyester is composed of ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent from a viewpoint of quality and economy, and the preferable thickness is 1-300μm. In addition, the preferred resins used for the laminated film are an acrylic resin and a polyester resin with their respectively different solubility parameters. Further, a water resin coating liquid is applied to the laminated film, and is stretched and thermally treated to undergo a crystal orientation process. The best suited surface curable layer B is an active linear curable acrylic resin layer in terms of hardness, curing properties and flexibility.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent easily impregnating properties (adsorbing properties) during printing and durability of a printed product by specifying the dynamic frictional coefficient between the surfaces of laminated films prepd. by forming a porous layer in which a polyurethane resin is a main component on one face of a thermoplastic film. SOLUTION: A laminated film is prepared by forming a porous layer with a mean pore diameter of 1-30μm in which a polyurethane resin is a main component on at least one face of a thermoplastic film. An image receiving sheet wherein the layer has closed cells when it is observed from the surface and the dynamic frictional coefficient between the surfaces of the laminated films is 0.05-2, is provided. As the polyurethane resin, either one embodiment which is dispersed in water or another embodiment dissolved in an org. solvent can be used, but the one dissolved in an org. solvent is pref. for forming uniform pores. In addition, it is effective for forming the porous layer that at least one of the org. solvent is incompatible with water.
