    Abstract: Biaxially oriented polyester film, which comprises a polymer blend of polyester (A) having repeating units of general formula (I) and a copolyester (B) having repeating units of the general formulae (I) and (II) and/or (III) and having a flow-initiating temperature of not higher than 350°C and an ability of forming melting anisotropy, with the reduced molar fraction of (II) and (III) based on the total polymer blend being 0.5 to 18 mol %. In formula (I), n represents 2, 4 or 6, R represents alpha, beta and psi (wherein X represents H or Cl, with at least one of them being Cl). In formulae (II) and (III), R1, RII, and RIII each represent a group selected from among 1,3-phenylene, 1,4-phenylene, 2,6-naphthylene, 2,7-naphthylene, delta, epsilon, phi, and gamma. One crystal surface of polyester (A) is oriented with respect to the film surface with a surface orientation coefficient of 0.75 to 0.95 and a crystal size of 35 to 75 Å in the direction of the crystal surface.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent antifouling property and durability by laminating an ethylene tetrafluoride copolymer resin film and a vinyl chloride resin film through at least an ultraviolet ray absorption type acryl resin layer. SOLUTION: Corona discharge processing is performed on the surface of an ethylene tetrafluoride copolymer resin film, and a coating formulating ultraviolet ray absorption acryl resin is applied on the surface with toluene and methyl ethyl ketone used as dilution solvent. Next, a white color vinyl chloride film as a soft synthetic resin film is pressingly adhered by a laminate roll through an ultraviolet ray absorption layer composed of the ultraviolet ray absorption acryl resin to perform heat treatment, and a base material for building material is molded. Thus, it has excellent ultraviolet ray shielding and antifouling, and building material suitable for the exterior material and interior material of the roof material, outer wall material and the like of a house structure can be formed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent stain proofing property and durability and improve cleanability of a stain proofing layer by layering a plastic film layer and a Stain proofing layer on at least one surface of a cloth-like base material. SOLUTION: On at least one surface of a cloth-like base material, a plastic film layer and a stain proofing layer are layered in this order. For the cloth-like base material, a knitted woven fabric made of glass fibers is particularly preferable in terms of mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tear strength, and durability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and stain proofing property. Also, for the plastic film layer, a fluorine film which simultaneously satisfies weatherability, water repellency, flame retardancy, releasability, and stain proofing property is particularly preferable. In addition, for the stain proofing layer, a colloidal silica or a colloidal alumina are particularly preferable as a composition having an inorganic hydrophilic colloid substance as a main component in terms of particularly stain proofing property and the durability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composite fluoroplastic film excellent in ultraviolet cut-off properties and durability and having thermal laminating properties and easy adhesiveness by providing a coating layer based on an ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin to at least one surface of a fluoroplastic film. CONSTITUTION:A composite fluoroplastic film is obtained by providing a coating layer based on an ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin to at least one surface of a fluoroplastic film. As a representative example of the material quality of the fluoroplastic film, a tetrafluoroethylene polymer is designated. However, a tetrafuluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer is pref. used from the viewpoint of mechanical characteristics, film forming properties and processing aptitude. Herein, the coating layer contains 50wt.% or more of an ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin. That is, the ultraviolet absorbable acrylic resin is a copolymer resin of a reactive benzophenone compd. having ultraviolet absorbing capacity and an acrylic monomer having a polymerizable unsaturated group.
