Abstract: PURPOSE: A large two-stroke cycle with an intake valve and cylinder liner is provided to be installed in a small space. CONSTITUTION: An intake valve opens a gas path when the pressure of a track is higher than the pressure of a cylinder, and closes the gas path when the pressure of a track is lower than the pressure of a cylinder. The intake valve (1) comprises a valve body with valve members (6, 7). The valve body is mounted on the cylinder to position the valve members.
