Abstract:
An imaging and recording apparatus for electrically recording an optical image of a subject as an image information signal which facilitates memory access from an external device and prevents image information from being changed. Upon manipulation of a recording trigger switch, an image outputted from a camera signal processing circuit at that time is written into a semiconductor memory, then subjected to data compression in a data compression circuit, and stored in a semiconductor memory. It is now assumed that an external device not illustrated is connected to a connector and this external device orders taking in the image of the semiconductor memory. If at this time the semiconductor memory is writing an image, a state detection circuit detects the fact and inhibits the external device from taking in the image. Furthermore, while the external device is taking in the image of the semiconductor memory, the state detection circuit detects this fact. Even if the recording trigger switch is manipulated, an AND gate turns off in response to an output of the state detection circuit and inhibits image writing into the semiconductor memory.
Abstract:
An electronic camera system includes a programmable transmission capability for selectively transmitting electronic image data to a plurality of remote base units. In one embodiment, a camera module is detachably coupled to a portable computer including a display screen and a data entry device. The electronic image data generated by the camera module is supplied to the portable computer for display on the display screen. The data entry device is used by an operator to select which of the plurality of base units are to receive the digital image data. The digital image data is supplied by the portable computer to a radio-frequency transmitter module for transmission to the selected base units. The radio-frequency transmitter module is formed either integral with the portable computer or, like the camera module, is detachably coupled to the portable computer. In a further embodiment, a combined telephone/camera unit is provided that includes a camera module for generating electronic image data representative of a scene to be imaged, a memory unit for storing the electronic image data generated by the camera module, a display screen for displaying the electronic image data stored in the memory unit, a mechanism for selecting which of the plurality of base units is to receive the digital image data, and a cellular transceiver for transmitting the digital image data to the base units selected by the selection mechanism.
Abstract:
A card type image reader comprises a rectangular card base and a reinforcing member provided on one side of the card base. A photodetector array in a straight line is provided on one end portion of the reinforcing member and the card base holds control circuit means and memory means. The control circuit means reads information of an original through the photodetector array in synchronization with a clock signal and stores the read information into the memory means.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the data communication method enabling wireless sharing of files or data between electronic devices that can store information and/or generate information by means of touch surface (capacitive or multi-touch), display units (LCD, led, etc.), photo sensor and frame having negative electrical conductivity.

Abstract:
An imaging and recording apparatus for electrically recording an optical image of a subject as an image information signal which facilitates memory access from an external device and prevents image information from being changed. Upon manipulation of a recording trigger switch (5), an image outputted from a camera signal processing circuit (17) at that time is written into a semiconductor memory (12), then subjected to data compression in a data compression circuit (21), and stored in a semiconductor memory (13). It is now assumed that an external device not illustrated is connected to a connector (14) and this external device orders taking in the image of the semiconductor memory (13). If at this time the semiconductor memory (13) is writing an image, a state detection circuit (23) detects the fact and inhibits the external device from taking in the image. Furthermore, while the external device is taking in the image of the semiconductor memory (13), the state detection circuit (23) detects this fact. Even if the recording trigger switch (5) is manipulated, an AND gate (6) turns off in response to an output of the state detection circuit and inhibits image writing into the semiconductor memory (13).
