Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a vertical structural member, such as a column and a wall, of a building, which prevents cracking or destruction by keeping a PC steel and a reinforcing bar within a range of a linear restoring force, even if the vertical structural member is subject to a devastating tensile force or bending moment due to a large earthquake or strong wind.SOLUTION: A building is constructed by arranging multiple columns on each floor from a foundation to a top floor. In a composition of the building, a tensioning force is introduced into PC steel of a PC column 12 arranged at a central part of the building, and the tensioning force introduced into PC steel of the PC column 12 arranged at a periphery is lower than that of the central part. Respective tensioning force, as a rigidity element of the structure, exerts a high vibration control effect, therefore a safety margin of a column member can be significantly increased.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately, horizontally and firmly mount a seismic isolation device at a designed regular position even without reconfirming a height of base plates which are fixed and mounted at a plurality of positions through anchor materials and mounting accuracy at a horizontal level.SOLUTION: An anchor member 9 and a box nut 10 for mounting a seismic isolation device are mounted to a connecting plate 6, the anchor member is inserted to a pile head part and a top face of a foundation 3 and positioned in a designed regular location, and the connecting plate is installed. Concrete is injected from a central part of the connecting plate into the pile head part and the foundation and installed up to a top face level of the connecting plate, and the anchor member is fixed. A horizontal level on the connecting plate and a top face of the installed concrete is adjusted, a top face correction material 11 is applied to fill up roughness on the top face of the concrete, and a lower base plate 12 is installed. After the top face correction material is hardened, a seismic isolation device 14 is installed and fixed by threading a fixing bolt 15 into the box nut.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep steel columns within the range of restoring force due to prestress by controlling the vibration or quake of the steel columns due to horizontal force to suppress the quake of a construction when repetitively subjected to strong quake due to a great earthquake or strong wind.SOLUTION: The construction built up using the steel-framed columns and having seismic control walls or seismic control braces ranging from a foundation to an intermediate layer includes tendons arranged in the cross sections of the steel columns at the cross section centroids of the steel columns and/or in symmetry to the cross section centroids in a range from the intermediate layer to a predetermined layer, the tendons being tensed and anchored therein to form the steel columns to which prestress is imparted. When the horizontal force of an earthquake or the like operates thereon, the prestress introduced into the steel columns operates as restoring force to restore deformation into the original shape, thus suppressing quake and preventing the great deformation of the construction.
