    Abstract: A system and a method for managing progression in 3D(Dimensional) based a GIS(Geographic Information System) are provided to manage various constructions integrally by displaying a progression ratio on a position of a map with a 3D image, which is changed according to an expected or real progression ratio, and linking geographic information with individual constructs information. A CPU(300) calculates an expected construction progression ratio by using construction plan information of a construction plan database(110), and calculates a real construction progression ratio by using the construction plan information and real construction progression information of a construction progression database(120). The CPU selects 3D figure information for displaying a construction object from a 3D figure database(140) by linking design information of a design information database(130) with the expected or real construction progression ratio. The CPU outputs a map image to an output unit(400) by using geographic information of a geographic information database(150), arranges the 3D figure selected according to the expected or real construction progression ratio on the map image, and outputs the map image and the 3D figure to the output unit.
