Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for identifying a compromised account. A compromised account may be identified by identifying a first unique identifier and associating the unique identifier with a fraud behavior. A second unique identifier may be identified and associated with a fraud behavior as well. The first unique identifier and the second unique identifier may be linked if at least a portion of the fraud behavior of the first unique identifier corresponds to at least a portion of the fraud behavior of the second unique identifier. Information relating to the fraud behavior of the first unique identifier, information relating to the fraud behavior of the second unique identifier, and information relating to the link between the fraud behavior of the first unique identifier and the second unique identifier may be stored in a data file. The first and/or the second unique identifiers may be an Internet protocol address.

Abstract: An armored carrier or other transport entity may scan a remotely-readable identification tag, such as a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag, of each monetary package being picked up and/or delivered. The scanner used by the armored carrier may notify the armored carrier if one of the monetary packages goes out of range without being checked out, such as within a period of time. Also, if that monetary package is not returned within range within a particular period of time, the scanner may automatically notify a centralized system. The scanner may further be aware of scheduled monetary packages to be picked up. If not all of the monetary packages as expected are picked up, then the scanner may also notify the armored carrier.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for user authentication required for conducting online financial institution transactions. The disclosed embodiments leverage the capabilities of platforms other than conventional personal computers and laptops, such as gaming consoles and wireless devices. Unique intrinsic user activities, such as controller motions or activities, built-in hardware signatures or other input data are used as the authentication mechanism, so as to provide a higher degree of security in the overall authentication process by lessening the likelihood of password replication or interception during network communication.

Abstract: A payment card with a display and/or dynamic magnetic stripe that operates using power received from an electro-magnetic/RF signal, without the need for incorporating a battery within the payment card. In one example, a payment card includes a receiver for receiving an external electro-magnetic signal and converting it to an electrical signal for powering the payment card; a CPU coupled with the electrical signal of the receiver; a display (i.e., a persistent display) for displaying data, wherein the display receives power based on the electrical signal from the receiver; and a dynamic magnetic stripe storing magnetically readable data, wherein the dynamic magnetic stripe receives power based on the electrical signal from the receiver. Responsive to the electro-magnetic signal received by the payment card, the data displayed on the display and stored in the dynamic magnetic stripe is changed. Methods relating to a payment card are also disclosed.

Abstract: Rules 206 defining a set of expression patterns - e.g. search patterns or regular expressions - represent predetermined confidential information. The rules are loaded 204 into a computerised document production/editing application, e.g. Microsoft ¹ Word, and a document 210 is analysed for the presence of at least one of the patterns, detection being indicated visually. The application includes an inline module to monitor 212 occurrences of the patterns. Rules are served from a rules server and the expression patterns are incorporated into the application via a plug-in. One of the patterns may define the format of a US social security number, being 9 numeric characters in 3 hyphen-separated groups distributed over 11 character positions, e.g. 123-45-6789. A detected expression pattern may be modified according to a predetermined format or style or may be otherwise redacted, perhaps according to a user- or system-defined template. The analysis may proceed without knowledge of the document user.

Abstract: Online banking using a gaming console may provide added security due to the hardened nature of gaming consoles. Additionally, console specific credentials may be used to verify that a user or console is authorized to access a requested financial account. The console specific credentials may be hardcoded in one or more hardware components of the gaming console so that the risks of exposure through tampering or hacking is reduced. User specific credentials and/or other information may also be used to further verify that a user or console is authorized to access a financial account. An integrity of the console may also be validated using console specific information. In one example, console integrity may be verified by a gaming service provider.

Abstract: Methods and a system for performing an automated teller machine (ATM) transaction using a queue are disclosed. A user may first initiate an ATM transaction from a networked device to create a pending ATM transaction. The pending ATM transaction is then stored into a queue until it is accessed by the ATM. When a user is ready to complete the pending ATM transaction, the pending ATM transaction is retrieved from the queue and is completed by, for example, the ATM.
