Abstract: PURPOSE: An unripe hot pepper sorting machine using image processing is provided to reduce sorting time and improve working efficiency by objectively and precisely sorting unripe hot pepper. CONSTITUTION: An unripe hot pepper sorting machine is composed of an image processing unit(20) securing the image of unripe hot pepper fed by a feed tray(30), an image sorting unit including a computer(27) and a control unit(29), a plurality of air jet nozzles(46) jetting compressed air and discharging the sorted unripe hot pepper, and a discharge stand(60) guiding the discharged unripe hot pepper into a collection box(61). The computer has a sorting algorithm and program for sorting the grade of the unripe hot pepper.
