Abstract:
An apparatus and method for searching color and shape of image data based on a natural language with Fuzzy concept is disclosed. The apparatus for retrieving includes: a dictionary storing unit for storing a dictionary used for processing a natural language; a color/shape threshold storing unit for storing color histograms mapped to color related words and edge information corresponding to shape related words; a query input unit for receiving a query sentence which describes the color and the shape of the image by using a natural language; an analyzing unit for analyzing the query sentence based on the dictionary information and generating analyzed words; a color/shape recognizing unit for recognizing whether the analyzed words represent the color or the shape; a color/shape threshold database constructing unit for mapping and storing color histograms to color related words and storing edge information corresponding to shape related words; a color/shape threshold retrieving unit for retrieving the color histograms and the edge information corresponding to the analyzed words from the color/shape threshold storing unit; and a retrieving result output unit for providing image data searched in the color/shape threshold retrieving unit.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method of generating block-based image histogram is provided to be capable of extracting specific information from a pixel group of a block unit by use of a block of plural pixels by a basic unit of generating histogram. CONSTITUTION: A coefficient 'k' is set to '0', and pixels of an image are grouped to set a block size of a level '0'(S101). Specific information of the image is extracted by a block unit with regard to all blocks of the level '0' to update a corresponding histogram(S102-S105). After extracting the specific information with regard to all blocks of the level '0', the coefficient 'k' indicating the level is increased by '1'(S106). Specific information of a level '1' is generated by merging specific information of the level '0'(S107), updating a corresponding histogram(S108). Operations of extracting the specific information with regard to all blocks of the level '1' and updating a corresponding histogram are repeated(S109,S110). If the operation of generating specific information with regard to all levels is not completed(S111), the procedure goes to the step(S106) of increasing the coefficient. If the operation of generating specific information with regard to all levels is completed(S111), the procedure is ended.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for transmitting reliable multicast data for processing continuous media is provided to supply a reliable multicast protocol for processing the continuous media capable of processing multi media data with dynamic group managements according to a system capacity of a remote computer, so as to prevent services from being suspended because of data losses, and to improve service quality to make the remote computer supply same multicast services. CONSTITUTION: A reliable multicast protocol forms groups on the basis of process usage rates in a kernel of a remote computer, and stratifies the groups. The protocol decides whether changes of the process usage rates are generated in kernels of each remote computer. If so, the protocol dynamically changes the groups. The protocol transmits data by group units, and simultaneously decides whether a data non-receiving signal is inputted from a receiving side. If so, the protocol reads non-receiving data parts to store the read parts in a buffer. The protocol transmits the non-receiving data parts to each local session by using a user level real-time scheduling policy.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reads sequence aligning method and a reads sequence aligning device using the same and, more specifically, to a method for aligning reads sequences about a reference genome by using seeds and to a reads sequence aligning device using the same. The reads sequence aligning device of the present invention includes a seed generating unit which generates seeds from reads sequences; a representative seed selecting unit which groups the seeds into multiple seed clusters and selects representative seeds from the multiple seed clusters; a seed aligning unit which aligns the representative seeds about a reference gene; and a reads sequence aligning unit which aligns the reads sequences about the reference gene in reference to the alignment result of the representative seeds. The reads sequence aligning method and the reads sequence aligning device using the same, of the present invention, are able to increase the efficiency of an operation by using a correlation between seeds.

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for effectively arranging data in parallel using a mass storage apparatus (for example, SSD) (hereinafter, a random access mass storage apparatus), which shows the same random access efficiency as the sequential access and which is not a memory (not an mass storage apparatus for providing a basic sequential access(read/write) such as an existing hard disk), and a multi-core to solve a problem on which a system having data elements does not arrange unarranged data on the memory.

According to the present invention, a medical management server which provides disease progress information of a patient who had a diagnosis or a treatment in a hospital and disease management information thereof are provided. The medical management server according to the present invention includes an interface unit for receiving progress data which shows a medical status of a patient who had a diagnosis or a treatment in a hospital from a user terminal; and a statistics analysis unit for statistically analyzing progress data based on clinical data which show a diagnosis or treatment history in a hospital, generating the disease progress information of the user according to the analyzed result, and providing the analyzed data as a result. The interface unit collects progress data through the user terminal based on a collection policy for determining progress data and transmits or displays the result data to the outside in response to a request for the result.

PURPOSE: A health care server and an operation method thereof are provided to offer a customized alarm service to patients of different health conditions by referring to the clinical and health information of each patient. CONSTITUTION: A health care system includes a hospital server (110), a personal health record server (120), and a customized health care server (130). The hospital server stores the clinical information of patients in a clinical information database (111). The personal health record server stores personal health information of a patient measured at home or in a mobile environment in a health record database (121). The customized health care server receives the clinical information and the personal health information of each patient from the hospital server and the personal health record server, respectively and performs a customized diagnosis depending on the conditions of each patient. The customized health care server comprises a symptom collection module (131), a symptom database (132), an alarm/reaction rule management module (133), an alarm/reaction rule database (134), and an alarm generation module (135). The symptom collection module receives the clinical information of each patient from the clinical information database of the hospital server. The alarm/reaction rule management module generates alarm rules based on the clinical information and the personal health information of each patient from the hospital server and the personal health record server, respectively.
