PURPOSE: A marine device management method is provided to manage configuration of ship devices automatically in case the devices within the ship are installed or replaced. CONSTITUTION: A device configuration information request message is received from an arbitrary device through a network within a ship system(S302). Address information of the device is allocated(S304). Whether the allocated IP address is used in the device or not is checked(S306). Service session information which is necessary for offering an applicable service about the device is allocated(S310). According to the allocated IP address information and service session information, a device configuration information response message is generated(S312).

A location information management system of a home network and a method thereof are provided to directly input location information of home network apparatuses through a user interface, thereby providing an accurate location based home network service. An apparatus management unit(122) forms an apparatus table by collecting information of home network devices(130). A location management unit(121) produces a spatial data structure of making a housing cross section latticed. And the location management unit relates the spatial data structure with the apparatus table through the location of the apparatus. A user interface module(110) receives locations about the home network devices. And the user interface module transfers the location to the location management unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for managing the search and execution of a home network service based on a home network are provided to acquire state information about plural home network devices in a home network environment, search a service associated with the device state information, and control the installation and execution of the searched service, thereby providing a service list suitable for the home network environment to a user to select the service more accurately. A service storage unit(34) stores the list of a home network service associated with a home network device(130). A device information analysis unit(31) analyzes device information acquired from the home network device to check a type of the device information. A service searching unit(32) searches the list of the home network service matching the type of the checked device information in the stored list of the home network service. A service executing and managing unit(33) manages the installation and execution of the home network service corresponding to a user's request out of the searched home network service list.

A system and a method for automatically changing a UI according to a display device are provided to offer the UI suitable for property of a display device in real-time by storing the developed UI of a developer to a database and converting the original UI stored in the database according to the property of the display device. A GUI(Graphic User Interface) manager(22) stores/manages style information of the display device corresponding to display device information and manages library information of GUIs by using a mapping table. A conversion rule manager(23) stores and manages a conversion rule according to the property of the display devices. A UI database manager(24) stores and manages the original UI made by a making tool(10). A rendering agent manager(26) generates an agent for communicating with the display device. A making tool agent manager(25) generates the agent for communicating with the making tool. A conversion engine(21) generates the adaptive UI by converting the original UI based on device style information, GUI library mapping information, and the conversion rule.

An apparatus for constructing device information for smart appliances control according to the present invention can include a camera member which produces a multiview image for 3D reconstruction through a multiangle photography using a depth camera in a room and produces 3D data by using the produced multiview image, and a home device controller which constructs a 3D space by using the produced 3D data, combines the data on the space of a control object device designated by a user in the constructed 3D space, and constructs a device profile for the operation control of the control object device.
