Abstract:
A system and a method for providing interactive traffic information by digital multimedia broadcasting are provided to transmit traffic information of the pre-set and specific regions, and operate a DMB broadcast channel effectively by encoding real time traffic information data of the set region and real time traffic information data of the region through a DMB network. A method for providing interactive traffic information by digital multimedia broadcasting comprises the steps of: searching pre-set broadcast channel information(S310); judging whether a region which is to be broadcasted has a renewed information(S320); calculating an idle bandwidth in which traffic information data is loaded(S330); judging whether the idle bandwidth exists(S340); generating information lists to be loaded in a range that the idle bandwidth is not exceeded(S350); encoding real time traffic information data of the set region to be broadcasted and real time traffic information data of the region through a DMB network, an information encoder, and a content encoder(S360); generating a transmission message of the region(S370); discharging the message to a Telematics receiving terminal(S380); and encoding position information of the traffic information data of the region through a content encoder(S390).
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for processing telematics contents and a recording medium for storing the method are provided to shorten a contents-updating period even in a restricted bandwidth, by converting the telematics contents to be adaptive to a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) net having the restricted bandwidth and arranging the telematics contents according to the priority order. A receiving unit(220) receives and stores contents obtained through a CP(Contents Provider)(100). A contents-processing unit(240) processes the contents to be adaptive to a DMB net to arrange the contents according to the priority order. A transmitting unit(250) compresses the contents arranged according to the priority order, and transmits the compressed contents to a DMB station(120).

An apparatus and a method for achieving lightweight application through duplicated application management in an OSGi(Open Service Gateway initiative) middleware environment for an embedded terminal are provided to duplicate application management through a connection unit and an integrated management unit so as to achieve lightweight applications. An apparatus for achieving lightweight application through duplicated application management in an OSGi middleware environment for an embedded terminal includes a connection unit(200), an integrated management unit(210) and a determination unit(220). The connection unit exchanges a message required to execute an application with the integrated management unit connected to a native module(215). The integrated management unit provides an interface for duplicating the application and exchanges the message with the connection unit. The determination unit confirms whether there is a native module related to an OSGi service bundle, executes an application according to the service bundle when the native module exists and then removes the application, and executes the application through exchange of the message with the connection unit and the integrated management unit when the native module does not exist.
