Abstract: PURPOSE: A door hinge for the back door of a vehicle is provided to prevent a loading space in a cargo chamber from being reduced by applying a simple structure for inserting a locking pin into a door hinge and restricting the opening angle of the back door. CONSTITUTION: A door hinge for the back door of a vehicle comprises a back door mount(10), a side outer mount(20), an arm(30), a rod(40), and a locking pin(50). One end of the back door mount is joined to a back door(1). The other end of the back door mount comprises a first shaft hole. One end of the side outer mount is joined to a side outer panel(2). The other end of the side outer mount comprises a second shaft hole. Both ends of the arm are separately and axially joined to the other end of the side outer mount for hinge rotation. A first restricting hole is equipped between both ends of the arm. Both ends of the rod are axially and hinge-rotatably joined to the first and second shaft holes. A second restricting hole is formed in a position to match the first restricting hole in the rod when opening the back door at a predetermined angle. The locking pin is inserted into the matched first and second restricting holes for maintaining the opening angle of the back door at the predetermined angle.
