    Abstract: A brake control device of a vehicle is provided to prevent the vehicle stopped on a slope from backing up when releasing a brake pedal by draining brake releasing air pressure slowly. A brake control device of a vehicle comprises a relay valve(3) and a control unit. The relay valve has an air exhausting port(3a). The air exhausting port supplies the compressed air from an air tank(2) to a brake chamber(5) or exhausts the compressed air drained from the brake chamber to the air. The control unit controls flow rate of the air exhausted to the air through the air exhausting port based on vehicle speed and driver's switch(11) operation. The ECU outputs a control signal if present vehicle speed is lower than a reference vehicle speed. The relay, which is connected with the ECU, turns on by receiving the control signal from the ECU. The lamp receives power from the relay and turns on or off according to operation of the switch. The air control valve, which is connected with the lamp, receives power from the lamp and controls the amount of the air exhausted to the air through the air exhausting port.
