The compressor is arranged between the first and second sub passages and makes compressed air flow into the surge tank. The bypass passage connects the first and second sub passages. Abstract: PURPOSE: A silent chain and a sprocket are provided to considerably reduce noise generated in contacting teeth of a link plate with the sprocket by contacting teeth of the link plate with the sprocket at different time with phase difference. CONSTITUTION: A silent chain(1) includes a plurality of overlapped link plates(3) of which teeth phases are engaged to cross each other. A sprocket forms a plurality of gear trains along a rotary shaft to engage with teeth of the link plates of the silent chain and crosses the teeth of each gear train to correspond to phase of the crossed teeth of the link plate. The phases of crossed teeth of the link plate are put before the others from the outside of overlapped link plates to the central part.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An intake port structure is provided to achieve improved engine output by supplying sufficient amount of air to the engine through first and second ports when the engine rotates at a high output. CONSTITUTION: An intake port comprises a cylindrical main body(10) for connection with an intake manifold. A first port(11) and a second port(12) are branched off from an output end of the main body. Each port has a valve insertion hole(13) formed on the top surface of each port so as to allow an intake valve to be mounted in the valve insertion hole. The first port and the second port have cross sections in the region where the valve insertion hole is formed, wherein the cross sections are C-shaped. The first port and the second port in the region where the valve insertion hole is formed, have independent fuel-air mixture flow channels which are not connected with each other.

The operating switch for controlling opening and shutting is connected to electric power to control operation of the first and second magnetic control valve and control the applying of compressed air.
