    Abstract: An advanced activation system for a catalytic converter is provided to promote advance activation of catalyst, by temporarily storing a part of exhaust gas in a storage space formed in a double pipe member arranged on the outer periphery of an exhaust pipe and heating the catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe by using the stored exhaust gas. An advanced activation system for a catalytic converter, comprises an exhaust pipe(10), a hollow double pipe member(14), an inflow path and an outflow path, a temperature sensor(16), and a driving control unit. The exhaust pipe is connected to an exhaust manifold of an engine, and equipped with a catalytic converter(12). The double pipe member is arranged on the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe to be axially movable. The double pipe member has both ends which are closed to form an exhaust gas storage space(S). The inflow path and the outflow path are formed between the exhaust pipe and the double pipe member to guide inflow and outflow of exhaust gas into and from the storage space of the double pipe member. The temperature sensor is mounted on the exhaust pipe, and detects the temperature of exhaust gas. The driving control unit controls the axial movement of the double pipe member in accordance with the temperature of exhaust gas, continuously heats catalyst by allowing for inflow of exhaust gas into the storage space through the inflow path prior to the activation of the catalytic converter, discharges the exhaust gas in the storage space to the inside of the exhaust pipe through the outflow path after the activation of the catalytic converter, and purifies the exhaust gas.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A wear-proof clutch is provided to suppress wear caused by the speed difference of two friction surfaces by contacting a clutch disc and a flywheel when the clutch disc and the flywheel rotate at a same speed by synchronizing the speed thereof before the clutch disc and the flywheel directly contact each other. CONSTITUTION: In a clutch comprising a flywheel(70) directly connected to a crankshaft of an engine and rotated and a clutch disc(60) spline-combined to an input shaft(80) of a transmission and rotated with being pressed to the flywheel, a wear-proof clutch is composed of a synchronizer synchronizing the rotational speed between the flywheel and the clutch disc before the flywheel and the clutch disc directly contact each other and generate friction force. In additional, a ball set(50) of the synchronizer for rolling-contacting with other side is installed to at least one of the flywheel or the clutch disc and a synchronizer groove(60') for combining the ball set in an instant is formed to be twice as many as the ball set.
