Abstract: A hydraulic brake device (10) for a tractor vehicle (11) with trailer (12) is proposed, in which after braking of the accidentally separated trailer by means of pressure medium from an energy storage device (27) situated on the trailer side, the brake cylinders (24) of the trailer can be released again. A control element (39), loaded by a spring (49) in a reversing valve (21) actuated by a safety line (26) accommodates a pilot-controlled first non-return valve (54) and defines a pressure chamber (48), which can be connected by way of a second non-return valve (61) to the energy storage device (27). By way of a tappet (34) and a lever (69) the control element (39) can be driven as delivery piston of a pump (73), in order to deliver pressure medium from the brake cylinders (24) of the trailer (12) into the energy storage device (27) following emergency braking. When a trailer (12) is coupled up to the tractor vehicle (11) the tappet (34) holds the control element (39) in an operating position joining the two connections (19, 22), as a result of which a partial flow limited by a restrictor (59) flows by way of both non-return valves (52, 61) to the energy storage device (27) when braking and keeps the latter ready for operation.

Abstract: A hydraulic control system for distributing pressure fluid to at least two systems, that is a first system including a first pump supplying pressure fluid through a first conduit to a first consumer and a second system including a second pump for supplying pressure fluid to a second conduit, in which a plurality of multiple position valves are arranged, each movable between a neutral position providing free flow of fluid through the second conduit and at least one working position respectively directing pressure fluid to the additional consumer respectively connected to said plurality of multiple position valves. A regulating valve is located in the first conduit and the second conduit is connected by a cross-conduit to the first conduit at a point upstream of the regulating valve therein. A bypass circuit in which a valve controlled by the fluid pressure in the second conduit is located leads from the second conduit to the inlet of the first pump so that when none of the additional consumers is actuated only a very small fluid stream passes through the second conduit and the multiple position valves to thereby reduce the energy losses.
