    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain economically advantageous recording medium protecting its recording layer by providing a protective layer of a uniaxially oriented plastic film to the medium. CONSTITUTION:A plastic having >=90% transmissivity at 750-850nm wavelength, or preferably >=95%, and >=100 deg.C heat resistance (heat-deflection temp.), or preferably >=120 deg.C, can be used, and a polyethylene terephthalate film, a polycarbonate film, etc. are exemplified. The thickness of the plastic film is regulated to 20-2,000mu (2mm) or preferably to 250-1,000mum. A magnetic film 2 is formed on a uniaxially-oriented polycarbonate film 3 by sputtering or vapor deposition, and the film is stuck on a cylindrical base body 1 made of aluminum. Consequently, the protective film 3 for preventing the deposition of dust or the generation of cracks on the recording film 2 or the recording magnetic film is formed by the polycarbonate film, and the unfavorable effect on the recorded pit is controlled.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain such a hard copy that part of an original image is erased optionally by providing a means which erasing part of the original image in a desired area in an image forming process with an erasure signal inputted according to a marker position. CONSTITUTION:When the erasure signal is inputted from a keyboard 3a during exposure scanning, the erasure signal is transferred to a controller 35 through an I/O port 34. A delay circuit 38 is provided in the controller 35 and a clock start signal from an image forming means 1 and said erasure signal are inputted through an AND gate 39. In this case, there is a delay of time (t) until the exposure point when the erasure signal is inputted reaches a black point as the irradiation position of a blank lamp. The delay circuit 38 delays a blank turn- on signal by said delay time and outputs it to the control circuit 8 of the image forming means 1 to turn on the blank lamp. Consequently, part of a latent image on a photosensitive body corresponding to where the erasure signal is inputted from the keyboard 3a is discharged to erase the latent image, thereby obtaining a partially removed copy.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp hard copy by providing a means which brings an original retaining plate and a liquid crystal display plate into tight contact with each other according to need or forming a slight space between the two plates. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display plate 2 is attached freely relatively turnably and openably or closably by means of a hinge H to an regular original retaining plate 1. An arm 31 is preferably freely oscillatably disposed to the liquid crystal display plate and the free end side thereof is provided to the plate 2 and is inserted into a loose hole. A projection 31a for stoppering is provided on the outside of said arm. The plate 1 and the plate 2 are further so arranged that both plates can be fixed in tight contact with each other by hook pairs 32a, 32b. A sharp hard copy is thus obtd. and since each position of the surface to be copied is preliminarily checked by observation, miscopying is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the operativity of image formation by providing a control means which converts and controls image information according to whether the image formation is performed or not on the basis of the image information. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-crystal panel display device 3 of, for example, A3 size incorporates RAM, and re-stores data transferred from internal RAM20 stored with binary video data 15 transferred externally and reads then periodically to drive respective cells of liquid crystal, displaying a still image. A 20-bit address counter 21, on the other hand, controls writing to a video memory 20 and reading to liquid-crystal RAM3. Output signals consisting of low-order 10 digit bits 9 and high-order 10 digit bits 10 are inputted to multiplexers 11 and 22 respectively and selected with a switching signal 13 to address the video memory. The output 9 of the multiplexer 22 is inputted to an adder 23, and the video memory 20 is addressed (X coordinate) after a specific value is added. Further, an Y coordinate of the video memory 20 is addressed on the basis of the output 12 of the multiplexer 11. Consequently, a display (a) of A3 size is displayed by being converted into a display (e) of A4 size.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve image density by providing a means for controlling the image density for obtaining a desired density and a means for controlling the image processing to obtain an adequate density irrespectively of the kind of an original and enabling the control by the adjusting means irrespectively of the control operation by the control means. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 rotates in an arrow 2 direction and light sources 3 and 20 and mirrors 4, 5 move in an arrow 6 direction, by which the light image of an original 8 is exposed on the drum 1. On the other hand the drum 1 is destaticized by a destaticizing electrostatic charger 11 and the surface thereof is charged by a primary charger 13. The above-described exposure is accomplished simultaneously with the reversely charged by a secondary charger 14 and the drum surface is illuminated by a lamp 15, by which an electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of the drum 1. The image is developed by a developing device 16 by which the visible image is obtd. The visible image formed by the toner passing between a transfer charger 17 and the drum 1 is transferred by the charger 17 and when paper passes through a fixing device 18, the image is fixed onto the paper. The image density when the image is copied by moving a lever 19 to a suitable position according to the density of the original is adjustable on an operation panel.
