Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the outdoor machine for an air conditioner to prevent the occurrence of a backflow to the outer peripheral part of an impeller on the high draft resistance condition of a blower and prevent reduction of heat exchange capacity due to lowering of an airflow and suppress the increase of blast noise. SOLUTION: An orifice 14 is formed by laminating together a disc-form ring 15 and a support sheet is securely arranged between the disc-form rings 15 and 15, gaps 16 at equal intervals are provided, and the inside and the outside of the orifice 14 communicates with each other. Through so formed structure, a part of air current along the outer peripheral part of an impeller 3 leaks through the gap 16 to the outside of the orifice 14 where a pressure is low and is returned to the interior of a blower 13 of an outdoor machine 17. Meanwhile, an air flow in the blower 13 flows in the part, where a pressure is very low, of the outer peripheral part of the impeller 3 through the gap 16 from the outside of the orifice 14 and an excessive negative pressure is corrected to suppress the occurrence of a backflow as a result of inflow of an air current in the blower 13, lowering of heat-exchange capacity is prevented from occurring through prevention of the occurrence of deterioration of air supply performance, turbulence of an air flow is prevented from occurring, and the increase of the generation of air supply noise is suppressed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor machine of an air conditioner in which even when an air stream collides with a wire of a fan guard, fluid noise is less produced and fluid resistance is less increased with air fan performance less deteriorated. SOLUTION: Concentrically arranged wires 16 of a fan guard 15 has its cross section configured substantially into an ellipsoid, and a cross section discharge side tip end of the wires 16 is inclined in the direction of the outer periphery with respect to a rotary shaft of a fan whereby fluid noise produced on the fan guard 15 is restricted and an increase of air fan noise is restricted as well as an increase of fluid resistance of the fan guard 15 is reduced and deterioration of air fan performance of an axial air fan is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of turbulence of flow around the outer periphery of the vanes of an impeller by a method wherein the outer periphery of discharging side of the impeller is surrounded by an orifice surrounding the outer periphery of the impeller at the side of a suction port while substantially whole area of the outer periphery of the impeller is surrounded by the orifice at the side of a side surface panel whereat the suction port is not provided. CONSTITUTION:An orifice 13 surrounds the whole area of outer periphery of an impeller 9 substantially at the side of a side surface panel 2b provided with no suction port. The orifice 13 is provided with a bell-mouth type suction side 13a, surrounding the outer periphery of discharging side of the impeller 9 and connected from the side surface panel 2b, at the side of a panel 2b provided with a suction port. According to this method, the inflow of air stream from the outer periphery of the vane 12 does not exist whereby the increase of air stream W1, blown out of the vicinity of the pressure surface side 12b1 of outer periphery 12b of the vane 12 and rushing suddenly toward the negative pressure surface side 12b2, as well as an air stream W2, blown out of the vicinity of the negative pressure surface side 12b2, can be prevented whereby disturbance in airflow around the outer periphery of the vane 12 can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain blast noise by surrounding the outer periphery on the discharge side of a blade of an impeller, back-tilting the outer peripheral part surrounded by an orifice of the impeller counterclockwide as toward the outer peripheral edge on the same height, and stabilizing the flow. CONSTITUTION:An orifice 6 is arranged on the outer periphery of a blade (the part including 8a to 8f) of an impeller 3, so as to surround the blade. The outer peripheral part (the parts shown by 8e1, 8e2) of the blade is back-tilted counterclockwise as toward the outer peripheral edge 8f on the same height. Thereby, when a vortex U1 generated on the negative pressure surface side 8d2 of the outer peripheral edge 8d of the blade not surrounded by the orifice 6 is sucked into the orifice 6, air flow W1 circulating to the negative pressure surface side 8e2 from the back tilted outer peripheral part 8e1 is easily performed. Thereby air flow W2 to be blown out from the back tilted outer peripheral part negative pressure surface side 8e2 is restrained, and the vortex U1 is moved to the inside from the edge 8f, so as to stabilize the flow.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent leak air flow of a blade, to reduce blowing noise and to improve blowing performance by fixing an orifice ring at the tip end of the blade on the outer circumferential part of an axial impeller and so on and by providing a second orifice ring close to its discharge side. CONSTITUTION:An axial blower is provided with an impeller 8 consisting of a plurality of blades 9 on the periphery of a hub 10 mounted on a motor 14, and a first orifice ring 11 is provided integrally with the blade 9 on the outer circumferential part of the blade 9. Also, on the discharge side of this orifice ring 11, a second orifice ring 12 is provided close to this orifice ring 11. And as for the first orifice ring 11, its axial length is made short in a portion where the outer circumferential end 9c of the blade 9 is sufficiently away from a suction side end 11a of the orifice ring 11 but close to the suction side, while the axial length of the first orifice ring 11 is made longer in a portion where the blade outer circumferential end 9c is located on the suction side than an end 11b.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent air, which flows in through the suction side of the impeller and blown toward its periphery, from colliding at the periphery with air flowing in through the periphery, suppress the increase of the noise of the air caused by the blower, and keep the performance of the blower unimpaired even in the case where an outdoor apparatus is installed without leaving an adequate space between the side with a blower such as an axial flow fan and a wall of a building or the like. CONSTITUTION:In the case where there is no adequate space between the side with a blower and a wall of a building or the like, a bell-mouthed suction opening 12 is moved toward the suction side and a cylindrical ring 14 is supported by the lower end of a cylindrical peripheral wall 12a of the suction opening 12 and jointly by the lower ends of ribs 13 so that air flows in through the suction side 7a of the impeller 7. A flow of air leaning to the peripheral side 7b is blown to the peripheral side 7b of the impeller 7 and its collision with air flowing in from the peripheral side 7b is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the increase of the turbulent flow in a blower and suppress the blowing noise by installing the first, second, and the third orifice rings, keeping correlation. CONSTITUTION:The air which is sucked in the radial direction from the outer peripheral part of a blade wheel 8 in the vicinity of the inlet of the third orifice ring 13 generates a tubulent flow boundary layer on the surface of the third orifice ring 13, and flows into the first orifice ring 11 from the third orifice ring 13, and allows the turbulent flow boundary layer to grow on the surface of the first orifice ring 11. Since the first orifice ring 11 and the blade wheel 8 are fixed at the top edge of a blade 9 at the outer peripheral part and revolve integrally, the top edge part on the outer periphery of the blade wheel 8 is prevented from passing through the turbulent flow boundary layer, and the air flows into the second orifice ring 12 from the first orifice ring 11, free from the exfoliation of the turbulent flow boundary layer, and passes through the second orifice ring 12 and is discharged outside the blade wheel 8. Accordingly, the turbulent flow and noise in a blower can be suppressed.

CONSTITUTION:When a blade wheel 3 is revolved in a prescribed direction by a motor 2, air flows into the blade wheel 3, and is applied with a static pressure and a dynamic pressure by the action of a blade 5 and discharged outside the blade wheel 3, and the air stream discharged in the nearly axial flow direction is deflected by a plate 7 in the nearly radial direction and blown outside a blower 1, and air blow is executed. In this case, a portion of the stream which is inclined to the outer peripheral side is suppressed by a rib 8 installed on the pressure surface side of the outer peripheral edge part 5d of the blade 5, and the blow-out of the air from the pressure surface side of the blade 5 to the outer periphery of the blade wheel 3 which is not surrounded by an orifice 6 is suppressed, and circulation flow is prevented, and the turbulent flow on the outer peripheral side is suppressed. Accordingly, the increase of the noise in blowing can be suppressed.

CONSTITUTION:In the case that an air blower 12 is operated under the condition that a draft resistance point is higher than a design operating point, the air flow W1 blown out from the suction side 5a to the periphery of the vane 5 is separated from the air flow X1 flowing from the periphery at the peripheral part 5b of the vane 5 to restrict the collision thereof by surrounding the periphery of the suction side 5a of the vane 5 with a cylindrical ring 13. Or, a part of the air flow W1 passes between the inner wall 13a of the ring 13 and the peripheral part 5b to return to the suction side 5a, and is sucked to the inside of an impeller 3 again. Next, since the air flow blown from a space between the ring 13 and an orifice 6 is pulled to the suction side 5a with the air flow X1 by the viscosity of the air flow sucked from the suction side 5a and combined with the air flow of the suction side to be sucked to the impeller 3, in the case of the operation of the air blower 1 under the described condition, increase of the air blowing noise and deviation of the air blowing performance are restricted.

CONSTITUTION:This blower is constituted of a cylindrical ring 13 fixed on an edge 6a on the suction side of an orifice 6 and surrounding the outer periphery of a blade 5 which is not surrounded by the orifice 6 and a cylindrical body 14 positioned inside of the ring 13 surrounding a suction side 5a of the outer periphery of the blade 5 which is not surrounded by the orifice 6 and formed of thin cylindrical members 14a, 14b, 14c whose length to surround the suction side 5a of the blade 5 is longer toward outside and has spaces A and B respectively between the ring 13 and the cylindrical body 14 and between the thin cylindrical members. Additionally, the edge part of the suction side of the ring 13 and the edge part of the suction side of the cylindrical body 14 are on the same surface.
