    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of insertion work of a soft urethane foam into an air chamber by a method wherein a magnet chamber is provided at an upper part of the air chamber having the soft urethane foam and two cutouts overlapping on a part of an air chamber wall are provided. CONSTITUTION:An insertion of a soft urethane foam 11 into an air chamber 10 can be made, if before welding of four sides of a magnet packing 4, by opening a cutout 14 of a straight magnet packing 4 and another cutout 15 on the other side successively by an automatic machine, and inserting successively a straight soft urethane foam. If after welding of the four sides of the magnet packing 4, the insertion is made by opening the cutout 14 toward inside of the rectangular magnet packing 4 excluding a welded corner part, and inserting the soft urethane foam. Thus, as the urethane foam can be easily inserted by opening two cutouts 14 and 15, arrangement of the soft urethane foam can be made automatically at either stage, that is, before and after the welding of the four corners.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate dewing and permit the visual observation of the inside of a refrigerator by a method wherein a plug, provided on an inner or outer transparent glass plate, is opened to send air, having the dew point of -40 deg.C, into a sealed space even when moisture has invaded into the sealed space and is dewed. CONSTITUTION:The door of a refrigerator is insulated by a foamed urethane heat insulating material 10 and a double-layered transparent glass plate 1 so as to permit the visual observation of the inside of the refrigerator through the transparent glass plate 1. A plurality of holes 12 are provided on the transparent glass plate 1 and a plug 13 is fitted into each hole whereby dewing in a sealed space 4 between the transparent glasses 1 can be eliminated and the inside of the refrigerator can be seen through the transparent glass plate, 1 by opening a bolt 15 in the plug 13 to remove moisture in the sealed space 4 by evacuating the space by a pump and sealing the air, having the dew point of -40 deg.C, when the moisture has invaded into the sealed space 4 due to a moisture gradient between atmosphere and the visual observation of the inside of the refrigerator has become impossible due to dewing in the sealed space 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To sufficiently improve escape of the air, to eliminate generation of unfilled part of a foamable heat insulating material and to prevent leakage of the material by inserting open cell foam of an outer box into a U-shaped flange, and forming a hole at the side of the flange of an inner box in contact with a flange piece at an opening side. CONSTITUTION:Formable heat insulating material 12 poured from an inlet 11 of a bottom 10 is expanded in volume in a space 13 between an inner box and an outer box, and as it is expanded, the air in the space 13 tends to be discharged. It is passed through open cell foam 4 of an engaging part 8 of the inner box to the outer box and a hole 16 on the side 5 of a flange of the inner box 6 to reach the contact face of the side 5 with the side 7 of the flange, but since resistance of the foam 4 is small, it is simply discharged out of the space 13. The material 12 is continuously expanded in volume, and the air is continuously discharged until it reaches the engaging part 8 so that an unfilled part 15 is completely eliminated. Then, the material 12 is solidified in resin state while immersing to the foam 4, foaming is completed without leakage of form an insulated box 14.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the endurance of the functions of a functional substance throughout the whole life of a refrigerator by a method wherein a multi-layer film wherein functional substances such as deodorizing agent, mildewproofing agent and the like are incorporated is bonded to a plastic part in the refrigerator and the top layer of the multi-layer film is pealed when the effect thereof is deteriorated. CONSTITUTION:Multi-layer films 11, bonded to a part of the surfaces of parts 5 in a freezing chamber, parts 6 in a refrigerating chamber and parts 9 in a vegetable chamber, are constituted of plastic film layers 12, wherein functional substances such as deodorizing agent, mildewproofing agent and the like are incorporated and formed so as to have the shape of a film, adhesive layers 13, bonded to the lower side of the film 12 as one set and multiple sets thereof are provided in the plastic film layer 12, a printed layer 14, applied with printing and the thickness thereof is slightly thicker than the film layer 12, and a bonding agent layer 15, provided at the lowermost layer of the film layer 12. When the effect of the film layer 12 is deteriorated during the using period of the refrigerator 1, the film layer 12 can be pealed slowly off and the initial effect of the multi-layer film 11 may be obtained since a new film layer 12 is developed from the lower part of the pealed film layer. Desired effects may be endured throughout the whole life of the refrigerator 1 by repeating the pealing works described above.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the door of a box body to be opened without requiring any strong force by incorporating a superconducting coil in the flange made of a ferromagnetic thin plate of the opening of the box body and providing a permanent magnet on the surface of the door facing the flange and an on-off switch which controls the energization of the superconducting coil to the box body. CONSTITUTION: A superconducting coil 9 is arranged on the rear side of a thin plate 5 in a flange 4. When a push-button switch 11 on a door 3 is pressed, a switch 10 is turned on and a direct current flows to the coil 9 from a power source 12. The direct current generates a strong magnetic field and the magnetic pole of the magnetic field generates a repulsive force against a permanent magnet 7 on a door 3. Consequently, a force works in the direction in which the door 3 is separated from the flange 3 and the door 3 is opened. Therefore, the door 3 can be opened by only operating the push-button 11 and even weak aged men and children can open the door 3 even when the door 3 required a strong opening force.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce an amount of carbon dioxide gas in cells to 0% and improve a heat insulating property by a method wherein carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent having fluorocarbon liquid impregnated therein is arranged at a clearance between an outer box and an inner box and then foaming heat insulating material is fed into the clearance between the outer box and the inner box. CONSTITUTION: A non-woven fabric bag having fluorocarbon liquid impregnated therein taken out of a fluorocarbon liquid layer is put into a net-like cage 14, inserted into a slit arranged at an outer box 2 and arranged in a clearance between an outer box and an inner box. After this operation, fluorocarbon liquid is gasified and while air is not impregnated in carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent, raw liquid of foaming heat insulating material is poured through a pouring inlet port, a pouring cap 16 is set at the pouring inlet to fill the foaming heat insulating material in the clearance between the outer box and the inner box to manufacture a heat insulating box 9. Thus, the carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent removes carbon dioxide gas in the cells to 0%, fluorocarbon liquid is gasified and impregnated into the cell of which pressure is reduced and entering of air can be prevented, resulting in that its heat insulating property is also improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent a retention of a foaming agent by supplying a hot air to a piping to heat it before filling it with foam heat insulator. CONSTITUTION: A warm air supply unit 8 has a heater 9 and a blower 10 therein, which are coupled to pipings 5, 6 via pipes 11, 12, respectively. Thus, since an outer case 2, an inner case 3 and pipings 5, 6 are heated before filling with foam heat insulator, a temperature difference is eliminated at the time of filling the insulator, and the foaming insulator is effectively adhered together with the pipings to eliminate a gap. Accordingly, a deformation of the case is obviated, and a problem of a protrusion and recess part is overcome.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce a thermal conductivity of a foamed thermal-insulating material and improve a thermal insulating performance by a method wherein an injection hole at an outer box for injection foamed thermal insulating- material is closed by an injection cap having adsorption material therein to hold the adsorbing material for adsorbing carbon dioxide gas in such a way that the adsorbing material is buried in the foamed thermal insulating material. CONSTITUTION: An injection cap 9 for closing a foamed thermal-insulating material injection hole 4 formed at an outer box 2 for injection of foaming- thermal insulating material 3 between an inner box 1 and an outer box 2 is of an injection cap structure having adsorbing material therein in such a way that the adsorbing material 13 for adsorbing carbon dioxide gas during its closed state is buried in the foamed thermal insulating material 3. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to adsorb carbon dioxide gas passing through and moving in the cells of the foamed thermal insulating material under adsorbing action of the adsorbing material and to fill fluorocarbon by 100% in cells. Thus it is possible to reduce a thermal conductivity of the foamed thermal insulating material and to improve a thermally insulating performance.
