Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the problem of public pollution by fluorocarbon, which destroys ozone, and prevent the deformation of the appearance of an adiabatic wall due to the contraction of foams in low atmospheric temperature by a method wherein the specified range of non-amino series active hydrogen compound is added and blended as the constituent of hydroxide group while 1,1- dichloro-1-fluoroethane or 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane is employed as foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:An adiabatic wall 1 is constituted of an inner box 2, consisting of ABS resin, an outer box 3, consisting of an iron plate, and hard urethane foam 4, foamed integrally between the inner box 2 and the outer box 3. The hard urethane foam 4 is constituted of hydroxide group blended with 5-30% of non-amine series active hydrogen compound, catalyst, foam stabilizer, organic polyisocyanate and the foaming agent of 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane or 1,1- dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane while the adiabatic wall, formed integrally with the surface member such as the inner plate of synthetic resin and the like, can be formed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-insulated box excellent in heat-insulating performance for a long term by a method wherein the heat-insulated box consists of an outer box, a hard urethane foam with use of fluorocarbon as a foaming agent and an inner box which is molded of particular high nitrile ABS resin composition. CONSTITUTION:A heat-insulated box 6 consists of an outer box 2, an urethane foam 4 with use of fluorocarbon C5F12 as a foaming agent and an inner box 5 which is molded of high nitrile ABS resin composition that is obtained by polymerizing monomer mixture of 52 - 58 wt.% of vinyl cyanide compound and 42 - 48 wt.% of aromatic vinyl compound in the presence of 13 - 15 pts. wt. conjugated diene type synthetic rubber. Although C5F12 contained in hard urethane foam diffuses easily and resin has a high permeability to this gas, an excellent heat-insulating performance can be maintained for a long term with less air permeation because high nitrile ABS resin composition, having a dense molecular structure and little gas-permeability, is used as material of the inner box. In addition, high nitrile ABS resin composition is excellent in moldability in vacuum molding, appearance and quality as material of the inner box, so that the heat-insulated box excellent in heat-insulating performance for a long term can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a heat insulting box body having a high quality by a method wherein a space between an inner casing, formed of a high nitrile thermoplastic resin composition, and an outer casing, made of a metal, is filled with an expandable heat insulating material consisting of organic polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A space between an inner casing 6, formed of a high nitrile thermoplastic resin composition consisting of graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing 52-58 weight% of vinyl cyanide compound and 42-48weight% of aromatic vinyl compound under the existence of 13-15weight% of conjugated diene series synthetic rubber having average grain size of 0.14-0.22mum, and an outer casing 7, made of a metal, is filled with expandable heat insulating material 5 consisting of organic polyisocyanate, constituted of polyole, foaming agent, catalyst, the constituents of foaming agent of HCFC-123 or HCFC-141b and the mixture of them and 40-90weight% of isocyanate constituents of polymeric MDI or the prepolymerized substance thereof and the balance of TDI-80, crude TDI and the prepolymerized substance thereof with the graft ratio, satisfying a formula (I) within the range of specific viscosity of 0.067-0.077.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a foamed heat insulating material capable of solving environmental problem without damaging physical properties of foam by blending an organic polyisocyanate with foam stabilizer, active hydrogen-catalyst concentration, specific blowing agent and polyether polyol while stirring, expanding and forming foam. CONSTITUTION:(A) An organic polyisocyanate is blended with (B) a foam stabilizer, (C) a catalyst (e.g. dimethylethanolamine) containing active hydrogen to be reacted with the component A, (D) 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane or 2,2- dichloro-1,1,1-trifluoroethane having little influence on ozone destruction as a blowing agent and (E) a polyether polyol while stirring and expanded into foam to give a foamed heat insulating material. Since the prepared foamed heat insulating material has excellent physical properties of foam because the catalyst C rapidly starts reaction with the component A, generates reaction heat and the blowing agent D quickly starts foaming by the reaction heat and contributes to formation of foam.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating material with high productivity and high reliability by coating an isocyanate trimer catalyst on the inner face of a sealed container and manufacturing hard urethane foam with saturated carboxylic acid dihydric metal salt as a bubble communicating agent. CONSTITUTION:An isocyanate trimer catalyst is coated on the inner face of a stainless sealed container 4 in advance. Hard urethane foam is filled through an injection port 6 with saturated monocarboxylic acid dihydric metal salt as a bubble communicating agent, it is heated for about 2hr at about 120 deg.C, adsorbed moisture or the like is evaporated via the injection port 6, a valve 7 is fitted, and the interior is decompressed by a vacuum pump for integral foaming. The total average of the continuous bubble fraction including a skin layer becomes 100%, and the hard urethane foam with no deterioration of the heat insulation performance can be manufactured with high productivity.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating structure excellent in mass productivity shortening the exhaust time by coating a foaming resin material of open cell structure with a vessel of metal or plastic laminated film and reducing a pressure in the inside of the vessel to close it. CONSTITUTION:A resin foaming material of open cell structure, obtained by using organic polyisocyanate, polyore, catalyst, foam arranging agent, foam communication agent and dichloro-trifluoroethane as the foaming agent to be mixed and foamed, is used for a core member of a vacuum heat insulating material. Accordingly, the core member generates an open cell rate actually to 100% with a foaming film broken in a foaming process while forming a fine foaming framework, so that the core member is coated with a vessel 5 formed by a metal or plastic laminated film, and a pressure in the inside of the vessel is reduced. Then excellent heat insulating performance is obtained even by a pressure of about 0.1 to 0.01mmHg easy to handle industrially, and mass production efficiency is substantially improved by shortening the exhaust time.
