Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect foodstuff from decaying because of an operation failure of a defrosting temperature detection means by giving an alarm if the time of a defrosting temperature detection means is shorter than its preset time when the defrosting temperature detection means is subjected to higher temperature after power is supplied to a defrosting heater. CONSTITUTION:When an operation timer counts a specified time, a compressor 9 is turned OFF while a defrosting heater is turned ON where a defrosting timer 19 proceeds with counting. Then, the temperature of a defrosting temperature detection means 11 is checked for. If the detected temperature is judged to be too high, the count value of the defrosting timer 19 is read. On the other hand, it is judged to be longer than a preset time, defrosting heater 10 is turned OFF so that cooling operation may be stated. When the time is shorter, it is output to a step alarm means 17 so as to allow the timer 19 to proceed with its count. When it reaches the preset time, the defrost heater 10 is turned OFF so that cooling operation may start. Therefore, when the power supply time to the defrosting heater 10 is extremely short, it can be judged to be an operation failure of the defrosting temperature detection means 11, which forcedly supplies power to the defrosting heater 10 for a specified time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately grasp the quantity of ice in an ice storage body by stopping a motor, if full of ice is sensed, at a position where an ice sensing lever is disposed upward, then moving a timer for integrating times, then again operating the motor when predetermined time is elapsed and sensing the quantity of the ice by the lever. CONSTITUTION:An ice sensing lever 22 vertically moving in cooperation with an ice separating mechanism 5 and a motor 6 is extended from an icemaking case 21 and disposed on an ice storage box 11. When the motor 6 starts to move, the lever 22 starts moving down, and after predetermined time is elapsed, it is disposed at the lowest position. When the motor 6 is further moved, the lever 22 starts to rise, and the lever 22 is finally returned to its original position. When the lever 22 is brought into contact with an obstacle such as ice, etc., while it is moving down, the lever 22 is stopped at the position, and the motor 6 is still continuously moved. The lever 22 is raised in cooperation with the state in which the lever 22 is started to be raised after predetermined time is elapsed from when the motor 6 starts to move. Icemaking sensing means 13 judges the quantity of ice of the box 11 according to the series of the operating amounts of the lever 22.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent water from running over on ice of an ice storage box being frozen into a large ice mass by checking the operation of a motor and a feed water pump motor to make a return to the first step in an ice making cycle when the other also runs into operation while one is in operation. CONSTITUTION:At the step 102, how a motor 6 of a memory section 13 is set is checked and when it is set OFF, an advance to the step 211 is made. At the step 102, the setting condition of the motor 6 at the memory section 13 is checked and when it is set ON, it can be judged that a feed water pump motor 4 and the motor 6 are turned ON simultaneously. A return to the first step is made in an ice making cycle. Therefore, in case, the motor 6 and the feed water pump motor 4 are turned ON simultaneously during the ice making cycle, the setting condition at the memory section 13 is checked to perform an ice making operation by a return to the first step in the ice making cycle.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To preserve frozen foods without damaging the foods at the start of operation or when warm food is placed in a refrigerator, by detecting a temperature gradient of a temperature detecting means, and lowering values of set temperature data when the temperature gradient is steep. CONSTITUTION:Input data from a temperature detecting means 8 is taken in, and the input value is stored in Told. A timer is started, and upon timer runout, input data from the temperature detecting means 8 is again taken in, and the input value is stored in Tnew. The difference between Tnew and Told is detected, and when the difference is not less than a set value, it is judged that the temperature gradient is steep. When Tnew (input temperature data) is higher than the set temperature data, a signal is outputted from a controlling means 13 so as to turn ON a compressor 9. When Tnew is lower than the set temperature data, on the other hand, a signal for turning OFF the compressor 9 is outputted from the controlling means 13.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the temperature of a cold storage chamber, which is more than necessity, during quick refrigeration by a method wherein a deodorizing fan is operated forcibly during the quick refrigeration, in which a compressor is operated continuously. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator is constituted so that a signal having 'H' level is outputted from a timer 40 to a driving means 20 and a deodorizing device driving means 41 for a given period of time when a quick refrigerating switch 22 is put ON. The deodorizing device driving means 41 is constituted so as to operate an ozone generating means 35 and a deodorizing fan 38 when the level of a pulse signal inputted from a timer 26 is 'H' and stop the operations of them when the level of the signal is 'L' while the sane means 41 as also constituted so as to operate the deodorizing fan 38 When the level of an input signal from the timer 40 is 'H'. The deodorizing fan 38 is operated forcibly during the quick refrigeration in such a manner whereby the inside of the refrigerator is heated by the generation of heat of the deodorizing fan 38 during the quick refrigeration and the reduction of the temperature of the inside of the refrigerator, which is more than necessity, may be eliminated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit proper cooling operation by constituting a stop timer so that the operation of the same is stopped during operation of a defrosting means. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator 1 is provided with a control circuit 11, equipped with a temperature detector 8, detecting a temperature in the refrigerator 1 to stop and/or operate a compressor 9, a defrosting means 22, starting defrosting when the operating time of the compressor is accumulated for a predetermined period of time, and a stopping timer 21, operated when the temperature in the refrigerator is higher than a predetermined temperature indicating the operation of the compressor and the compressor is being stopped, while bringing the refrigerator into an initial condition upon throw-in of a power source when the stopping timer has accumulated for more than a predetermined period of time and stopping the operation of the stopping timer during the operation of the defrosting means. Accordingly, the rottenness of foods in the refrigerator due to faulty cooling caused by remaining frost when the operation of the refrigerator is initialized by the decision of faulty cooling condition occured by the malfunction of a control circuit when the temperature in the refrigerator is increased by the stopping of the compressor during defrosting and the like may be prevented and proper cooling operation may be effected.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce transparent ice stably without elongating an ice making time, by a method wherein the stopping time of a heating means after closing a door is changed in accordance with the opened time of the door and an atmospheric temperature, even when the opening and/or closing of the door of a cooling chamber are effected during ice making. CONSTITUTION:When an atmospheric temperature sensor 31 has detected a temperature higher than a predetermined temperature, the output of a comparator 39 becomes 'H', the input (b) of a timer 38 becomes 'H', the contact of a door switch 17 is opened and a light emission diode 34 is conducted whereby the conduction of a heater 11 is stopped. After stopping the conduction of the heater, the output of a phototransistor 35 becomes 'H', however, when the opened time of the door is longer than a time (ta), the output of the timer 38 becomes 'H' while delaying a given time or 10min, for example, therefore, the output of the timer 38 becomes 'L' continuously during a time T1 whereby the conduction of the heater 11 may be stopped.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To set a temperature in the storage chamber of a refrigerator at a normal temperature, by a method wherein the stopping of a motor is constituted so that the stopping of the motor at the last opening and closing mode between two opening and closing modes is not effected by a time from the finishing position of an initial opening and closing mode and is effected after a given time by converting a lead switch SW again. CONSTITUTION:When the temperatures of a partial chamber 11 and a cold storage chamber 6 are lower than set temperatures, for example, a temperature memory 0 is set and, then, the temperature memory 0 is judged whether it is set or not or a time is decided whether T1 sec has elapsed or not. When the time T1 sec is not elapsed, a motor 21 is put ON. When the time T1 has elapsed, the motor 21 is put OFF. When the temperatures of the partial chamber 11 and the cold storage chamber 6 are lower than the set temperatures thereof, a lead switch SW35 is converted form On into OFF and the motor 21 is stopped after T1 second while both of the opening and closing members A14, B15 are closed. Accordingly, when the opening and closing members A14, B15 are turned from closed-closed condition into opened-closed condition or when the same is turned from opened-opened condition into closed-opened condition, the motor 21 is stopped when times T5, T6 have elapsed after converting the lead switch SW35, therefore, the motor may be stopped at the normal position of the motor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce transparent ice without generating the non-cooling phenomenon on a cooler due to the clogging by frost, by a method wherein an ice making operation is waited until defrosting is finished even when the ice making operation is started during defrosting. CONSTITUTION:When an user throws-in an ice making switch 16 during defrosting, the output Q of a defrosting timer 32 is 'H', the output of an inverter circuit 38 becomes 'L', the output of an AND circuit 32 becomes 'L' and a timer 28 is not operated, therefore, ice making operation is not started. Subsequently, when defrosting is advanced and the temperature of a bimetal 18 becomes a defrosting termination detecting temperature, the output 'L' is outputted from the output Q, a transistor 33 is put OFF, the conduction of a relay coil 34 is intercepted and a contact 20b is switched into the contact 20a in a relay 20 whereby the conduction of a defrosting heater 17 is intercepted and defrosting is finished. Simultaneously, the output of the inverter circuit 38 becomes 'H' and the output becomes 'H'. When the output of 'H' is inputted into the timer 28, the ice making operation is started. Accordingly, a compressor 15 is operated after the frosting of the cooler 4 is removed perfectly.

As a result, the right and left clearances are equally divided and top clearances on both sides of the movement direction of the feed table 12 also become equal. With such a constitution, each component is made relatively simple and the cost of the device can be reduced without necessitating expensive components such as a load cell and differential transformer.
