Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the speed of arithmetic processing in comparison with the use of a program for queuing of a pair of tokens different in length of a data processor by realizing said queuing with one instruction. CONSTITUTION:In a data synchronizing device 1, a token inputted to a firing control part 2 from a synchronous queue 14 through a signal line 21 is latched in an input token register 4, and a code table 5 and a state holding part 6 are referred by a code table address 74. The arithmetic operation in a firing control part and a processing unit of the token is prescribed by this table 5, and an operation code 30 indicates the instruction code indicating the operation in the processing unit. A firing control code 31 indicates the instruction of the operation of a control part 2 and the operation like data memory read/write of the processor can be described. A data memory base address 32 gives the base address of address calculation by which a data memory 3 is accessed with a simultaneous instruction, and a data memory buffer size 33 designates the buffer size where the token is held.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize the high-speed working of a data flow processor by performing the convolution processing just with a fact that N pieces of tokens to be processed make a round of an internal ring. CONSTITUTION:A link table 11, an operand fetch table 12, a data memory 13, a function table 14, a buffer queue 15, and a processing unit 16 are successively connected together in a ring form via a pipeline type bus. The tokens are transferred along said internal ring bus synchronously with the pipeline clock of a data flow processor 1. When the convolution is carried out with N pieces of data, it is possible to fetch a coefficient w(i) via the table 14 by means of a group identifier of the group tokens. Thus it is not required to make a token train produced by a token producing part 20 make two rounds of the ring bus for fetching N pieces of data and the coefficient w(i). Thus the convolution processing is performed at high speed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute the instruction for renewal by respective processors after selecting a processor in parallel without aligning others and to execute a highly speedy and efficient processing by providing a processor selecting input means, a renewing means and a queuing means. CONSTITUTION:Processors 11a-11n are connected in a ring shape with a memory 13 by a ring bus 12 and the memory 13 inputs a token including picture element data through a bus 12 to a processor selecting input means 16. The means 16 sends a processor number and a data token including the picture element data to the bus 12, and the processor of the same number as the processor number inputs the data token from the means 16. Next, the contents of the data memory of the referring address corresponding to the numeric value of the picture element data through a renewing means 17 and a waiting means 18 are read, the contents are incremented and written in the data memory of the referring address. In such a case, respective processors can execute the renewing means 17 in parallel respectively and the processing can be efficiently executed at high speed.

A load control part 21 decides on the tokens returned from the outside whether or not a necessary number of tokens required for target load instruction execution are ready and when so, they are put in the arithmetic processing part 10 through a token memory 13 in turn, so that the previous instruction execution is carried on.
