Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent influences of waveform distortions caused by the horizontal de-emphasis processing carried out in a reproduction state from exerting on a screen when a horizontal emphasis processing is carried out with a TDM signal. CONSTITUTION:The color difference signals PB and PR are supplied to a time division multiplexing circuit 12 via the FIFO memories 41 and 42 after the A/D conversion, the vertical filter processing, etc. The first and last 12 samples out of 228 samples of each horizontal period undergo the A/D conversion with a clock CK2 (2fs) and are inputted to the memories 41 and 42. Other 264 samples undergo the A/D conversion with a clock CK1 (fs) and are inputted to the memories 41 and 42. Then the data on 288 samples of each horizontal period are outputted from both memories 41 and 42 at the rate of the CK1 as a whole. The waveform distortions is affecting the data on the prescribed sample number of the end part can be reduced in terms of time. Then the influences of the waveform distortions can be hidden at an overscan part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent that a discontinuous part of voice signals generated when the signals are coupled and dubbed is output as noises. CONSTITUTION:In dubbing voice signals, a dubbing starting data '1' generated in an ID generating circuit 6 is recorded in an index area of, e.g. four fields, and the voice signals are recorded from the next track. In order to reproduce the dubbed voice recorded in the above manner, first, the dubbing starting data is detected by an ID register 25 and supplied to a system controller 8 to judge whether the voice is dubbed or not. If the voice is the dubbed one, a muting instruction is generated to mute circuits 30A-30D, and the voice signals to be reproduced are muted for a predetermined time, e.g. four fields. Accordingly, discontinuous signals remaining at the coupling part of the voice signals are prevented from being output as noises.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a waveform distortion of an output signal when a video signal subjected to time division multiplex is processed by replacing a YC guard signal between a color difference signal and a luminance signal with a prescribed transition signal, applying deemphasis processing to the resulting signal and demodulating it. CONSTITUTION:When a color difference signal C and a luminance signal Y are subjected to time division multiplex by a time division multiplexer circuit 42 at recording, a YC guard signal SY2 whose level is kept to a black level and an achromatic level respectively for a start end and a tail end for a prescribed sample number is inserted for a YC guard period. Thus, after the horizontal nonlinear emphasis processing, distortion due to interposition of a synchronizing signal and a burst signal is prevented. Furthermore, at reproduction, a selection circuit 44 is interposed between an A/D converter circuit 24 and a horizontal NLD circuit 26, a YC guard signal is replaced with the transition signal SY2, and resulting time division multiplex signals S23, 24 are processed by the horizontal NLD circuit. Thus, waveform distortion is prevented similarly to the case with NDE processing.

The pilot signal P is detected from a luminance signal Y without giving effect on a reproduced picture in a TV monitor, the frequency is set to a frequency lower than the frequency of the luminance signal Y, the superimposing timing is selected to a head position of the luminance signal Y and the amplitude is an amplitude of a signal changing around a gray level. The pilot signal P superimposed on the luminance signal Y is detected by a pilot signal detection circuit 53 in the video signal recorder 5 and the video signal recording processing circuit 51 records the video signal onto a video tape 11 and records re-recording inhibit information onto its reserve area.

Thus, the picture is correctly recorded and reproduced regardless of number of valid scanning lines.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent dubbing by decoding an identification code on a 2nd transmission line based on a timing signal from a 1st transmission line and recording a data on a 1st tape to a 2nd tape based on a dubbing permission signal upon coincidence with a prescribed data. CONSTITUTION:The identification code C based on a discriminating data (d) on the 1st tape is synchronized with a prescribed timing signal (t) on the 1st transmission lines 10 and 11 (audio signal line and video signal line) and supplied to the 2nd transmission lines 10, 11 and 22 (dedicated transmission line), and the identification code C on the 2nd transmission lines 10, 11 and 22 is decoded and discriminated based on the timing signal (t) from the 1st transmission lines 10 and 11. Consequently, when the discriminating data (d) to be transmitted from the 1st tape 1 is rewritten by interrupting the transmission lines 10, 11 and 22 with a transmission data rewriting device, a time lag is generated be tween the 1st transmission lines 10 and 11 or 22 and the 2nd transmission lines 10 and 11, and the identification code is not correctly decoded in a recording system 3. By this method, dubbing is infeasible.
