Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a long product by continuous extrusion and to reduce the danger of ignition or explosion by forming a fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene and adding a fluorine type surfactant to an aq. extrusion aid. CONSTITUTION:Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is formed into a fine powder and a fluorine type surfactant is added to an aq. extrusion aid. PTFE is a tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer, a copolymer with other copolymerizable monomer or a mixture of them. PTFE and the aq. extrusion aid are pref. added to an extrusion compsn. in an amt. of 70wt.% or more. In the extrusion compsn., the aq. extrusion aid is added in an amt. of 25-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the PTFE fine powder. (When the addition amt. of the aq. extrusion aid is out of this range, moldability becomes easy to deteriorate because of the lowering in flowability caused by lubrication deficiency and the excessive aq. extrusion aid is exuded under pressure during molding or pressure becomes insufficient and sufficient plastic deformation is hard to generate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a surface protection film excellent in ultraviolet blocking properties and thermal lamination properties and also having antistatic properties and coloring properties by providing a coating layer based on an ultraviolet absorbing acrylic resin on the surface of a fluoroplastic film and further providing a thermal adhesive resin layer on the coating layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating film based on an ultraviolet absorbing acrylic resin is provided on the surface of the fluoroplastic film and a thermal adhesive resin layer is further provided on the coating layer. The fluoroplastic resin film is pref. based on an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and, when the coating layer is formed on the surface of the fluoroplastic film, surface treatment or undercoat treatment is pref. applied to the fluoroplastic film. The ultraviolet absorbing acrylic resin is a copolymer consisting of a reactive benzophenone compd. and an acrylic monomer having a polymerizable unsaturated group. A vinyl chloride resin or a polymethacrylic resin is used in the thermal adhesive resin layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the film improved in antistatic properties, bondability, printability, a suitability for writing, and handleability by forming a coating layer based on a polymer binder and a cationic polymer on the surface of a fluororesin film. CONSTITUTION:A 100 pts.wt. polymer binder having a hydroxyl value of 40 mgKOH/g is mixed with a cationic polymer and optionally 0.1-70wt.% coloring pigment of a mean particle diameter of 0.01-25mum and a crosslinking agent, and the mixture thus obtained is dispersed in an organic solvent to obtain a coating fluid. This fluid is applied to at least either surface of a fluororesin film of a thickness of 1-500mum to form a coating layer and dried to form a coating layer of a thickness of 0.01-50mum.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide superior antistatic properties and duration thereof and also ease of adhesion, coloring properties, ultraviolet radiation screening properties, and the like by incorporating a compound shown by formula I in one surface layer of a fluororesin film having a laminated structure of two or more layers. CONSTITUTION:A laminated fluororesin film having a laminated structure of at least two layers can be functionally improved by having that of three, four, five, or more layers. However, a two- or three-layer laminated structure is found to be more desirable by totally taking a production technique, a quality, a profitability, and others into consideration. A two-layer structure containing a compound shown by a formula I in either layer is most desirable. In the formula I, Ar is aromatic group which may have substituent; (n) is an integer of 1-5; and X is OM (M is hydrogen or salt).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a receptive sheet for printing which has excellent ink stickiness, printability, water-proofing and anti-solvent properties and superb thermal size stability, whiteness, softness and pliability in a coating layer by applying the coating layer consisting mainly of poly(metha) acrylic acid ester copolymer containing a reactive monomer, at least, on one side of polyester film. CONSTITUTION:This receptive sheet for printing consists of a coating layer based on poly(metha) acrylic acid ester copolymer containing a reactive monomer, applied at least, to one side of polyester film. The poly(metha) acrylic acid ester copolymer is a poly(metha) acrylic acid ester copolymer containing a reactive monomer. The reactive monomer is compound containing a functional group, for example, a carboxylic group (e.g. (metha)acrylic acid, etc.). When this sheet is printed, for example, with a bar code, white concealing pigment of inorganic or organic pigment which makes the coating layer appear white is added to the coating layer. Further it is recommended that a cross-linking binder be added to the coating layer to improve the stickiness, water-proofing and anti-chemical properties and heat resistance of the coating layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To have a low specific gravity and improve heat stability, a cushion characteristic, whiteness, blocking proofness and adhesiveness by obtaining a white polyester film by adding an immiscible polymer and a specific gravity lowering agent to a polyester and forming on the surface thereof a covering layer containing a specific reactive urethane as the essential component. CONSTITUTION:A covering layer is provided on at least one side of a film support. The film support is made of a polyester film having a heat contraction ratio of less than 2% at 150 deg.C and a specific gravity of 0.95 or less, while the covering layer is made of a composition containing as the essential component an aqueous spontaneous emulsive, thermal reactive urethane having a solvent swelling ratio of 50% or less and a water swelling ratio of 80% or less. Selected from a methylbuten polymer, a methylpenten polymer, a styrene type polymer, a fluorinated polymer, a cellulose acetate and the like, an immiscible polymer having a melting point of 20 deg.C or higher is dispersed and mixed into the polyester film. The polyester film comprises a polyester containing a specific gravity lowering agent such as polyalkylene glycol and ethyleneoxide-propyleneoxide copolymer.

CONSTITUTION:The coating layer formed on at least one side of the film base comprises an aqueous ethylenic ionomer resin, halogenated polyolefin containing in an amount of 10 - 80 wt.%, and a copolymer composed essentially of ethylene, and unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its ester as structural units, and a compo sition of a graft copolymer grafted with a compound having unsaturated bonds containing alkoxysilane or glycidyl group, and a composition of at least one of nonaqueous polyester copolymer having a glass transition point of 5 - 90 deg.C, thus permitting the obtained base film to be low in density and rich in white ness, and the obtained coating layer to be superior in adhesion to the base layer, supporting body and the photosensitive material layer, and the obtained image receiving sheet to be superior in mechanical strength, and resistances to water and chemicals.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a receiving sheet for printing excellent in adhesive properties, printability, water resistance and solvent resistance by applying a coating layer mainly comprising a nonaqueous group polyester copolymer manufactured by grafting a compound having an unsaturated bond containing alkoxysilane or a glycidyl group onto a polyester film. CONSTITUTION:In a receiving sheet for printing, a coating layer mainly comprising a nonaqueous group polyester copolymer acquired by grafting a compound having an unsaturated bond including alkoxysilane or a glycidyl group is applied onto at least one surface of a polyester film. When the sheet is used as the receiving sheet for printing, it is favorable that a white masking pigment is contained in the coating layer when trouble is generated in the resolution and visibility of printing, the confirmation of the place of printing, etc. in a transparent sheet such as when a bar code is printed. 0.05-3.0mum are preferable as the mean grain size of the white masking pigment, while 0.1-70wt.% are favorable as adding value.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To raise the adhesiveness with an overcoating layer by providing hydrophilic radical contained polyester copolymer in which acrylic compound is grafted, and a molecular oriented bridge modified layer consisting mainly of a bridging agent, on a polyester film. CONSTITUTION:In a laminated polyester film provided with copolymer in which one kind or more acrylic compound is grafted to hydrophilic radical containing polyester resin and a bridge modified layer consisting mainly of a bridge coupling agent, one surface of a polyester film, it may be a type wherein the bridge modified layer is molecular oriented therein. The polyester of polyester film means polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene 2,6-naphthalate, polybutylene terephthalate or the like. The hydrophilic radical containing polyester resin means polyester copolymer being introduced with one kind or more hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, carbonyl group, sulfonate, or the like. As the acrylic compound, alkylacrylate and alkylmethacrylate can be given. And, the bridge coupling agent is a bridging agent to be a modified layer in thermal bridging reaction with a functional group existing in the compound. Thus, a laminated polyester film can be obtained, which may be excellent in the adhesiveness with a base material, and water proof, hot water resisting property, and alkali resistance.
