Abstract:
A manual CPR apparatus for increasing the flow of blood in a patient suffering cardiac arrest. A force multiplier mounts to a base contoured to seat near a central region of the patient's chest. The force multiplier connects to a manual actuator and belt connectors which, in turn, connect to opposite ends of a substantially inelastic belt wrapped around the patient's chest. The force multiplier doubles the force manually applied to the actuator and directs it through the base toward the chest. The force multiplier includes two assemblies. The first has a pair of arms rigidly connected in the same plane to a trolley assembly and two grippable handles extending perpendicularly from either side of the trolley assembly. The second assembly has a pair of vertical struts that attach to opposite sides of the base on either side of the pair of arms of the first assembly.
Abstract:
An ambulatory suspension system for gait rehabilitation has a parallel pair of rails bordering the sides of a training area and a bridge extending between and movable along the rails. A trolley is movable along the bridge and includes a motor driven hoist with a cable extending thereabout and depending from the trolley. The hoist is operable to vary the length of the cable depending from the trolley, and a harness is suspended by the cable. Motors move the bridge along the rails and the trolley along the bridge as the sensors sense the direction of movement of the patient in X and Y directions. The falling motion of a patient supported in the harness is sensed and will immediately disable the system. A computer control receives signals from the sensors and operates the motors so that the patient is held in an upright position.
Abstract:
A J-shaped vibrating massager and method for manufacture thereof. The J-shaped massager may consist of a J-shaped tubular rod, a head, one or more handles, vibratory sources, and vibratory controls. Generally, the J-shaped tubular rod may also consist of a J-hook and a barrel. Typically, the head is located at the end of the J-hook opposite the barrel, while the vibratory source may be mounted in the head or anywhere along the length of the J-shaped tubular rod. The vibratory source induces vibrations in one or more portions of the J-shaped tubular rod, generally including the head. The vibrations massage surfaces in contact with the invention. Because the invention is generally J-shaped, a user may reach his or her own back with the head of the J-shaped massager in order to give himself a back massage. The invention may include a variety of tips having different sizes, materials, and shapes.

Water dispenser group (1) for' the distribution of water, for example in sanitary installations, like a shower, having a main extension axis (X-X). The dispenser device (1) comprises a dispenser device (10) that extends along the main axis (X-X) and 'that comprises a dispenser body (100) comprising a number of nozzles (101, 102), wherein each nozzle (101, 102) extends along a nozzle axis (101', 102'); each nozzle axis (101', 102') is inclined in relation to the main axis (X-X), and wherein at least two nozzle axes (101', 102' ) are mutually skewed.
Abstract:
Small high efficiency motors in order to produce large amounts of power must be operated such that they are running at high speed outside the desired vibration range for sexual stimulation. Accordingly, designs allowing for the appropriate gearing to allow heavy weights to be spun with small diameter and high efficiency whilst not increasing the outer diameter of an adult device are disclosed. Beneficially embodiments of the invention provide users with adult devices providing high impact (amplitude) vibration in a range of physical geometries compatible with providing internal and / or external stimulation which can also be offered at low cost and / or low manufacturing cost with extended operating life. Additionally, design flexibility via axial designs, non-axial designs, flexible drive designs, aperiodic drive designs, and linearly driven designs provide design solutions for implementing vibrators with low cost, high impact, targeted frequency characteristics, increased efficiency, and increased power.

Abstract:
A J-shaped vibrating massager (100) may consist of a J-shaped tubular rod (105), a head (135), one or more handles (120, 125), control means (150), and vibratory means (500). Generally, the J-shaped tubular rod (105) may also consist of a J-hook (110) and a barrel (115). Typically, the head (135) is located at the end of the J-hook (110) opposite the barrel (115), while the vibratory means (500) may be mounted in the head (135) or anywhere along the length of the J-shaped tubular rod (105). The vibratory means (500) induces vibrations in one or more portions of the J-shaped tubular rod (105), generally including the head (135). The vibrating massage surfaces are in contact with the invention. Because the invention is generally J-shaped, a user my reach his or her own back with the head (135) if the J-shaped massager (100) in order to give himself a back massage. The invention may include a variety of tips (145) having different sizes, materials, and shapes
Abstract:
An actuating device for orthosis including a housing, a motor, a transmission disposed in the housing, and an actuating arm. The transmission is operatively connected to the motor such that the motor provides power to the transmission. The transmission includes a first stage, a second stage, and a third stage. The first stage has a first sprocket, a second sprocket, and a first drive belt tensioned between the first sprocket and the second sprocket. The first sprocket is attached to a shaft of the motor. The second stage has a third sprocket, a fourth sprocket, and a second drive belt tensioned by the third sprocket and the fourth sprocket. The third sprocket is attached to the second sprocket of the first stage. The third stage has a fifth sprocket, a sixth sprocket, and a third drive belt tensioned by the fifth sprocket and the sixth sprocket. The fifth sprocket is attached to the fourth sprocket of the second stage. The transmission additionally includes a first shaft and a second shaft. The second sprocket, the third sprocket, and the sixth sprocket are attached to the first shaft, and the fourth sprocket and the fifth sprocket are attached to the second shaft. The actuating arm is operatively connected to the sixth sprocket of the third stage of the transmission such that the power provided to the transmission by the motor causes the actuating arm to provide an output torque.
