    Abstract: PURPOSE: A door closer is provided to prevent the hands of a person from being caught in the gap between a door and a doorframe by reducing the closing speed of the door. CONSTITUTION: A door closer comprises a doorframe mounting portion(100), a frame(200), a fixed gear(300), a speed reducer(400), a rotary motor(500), a moving gear, a rotary link(700), a connection link(800), a coil spring(900), and an actuating arm. The frame is rotatably connected to the doorframe mounting portion. The fixed gear is fixed to the inner surface of the frame. The speed reducer is installed on the doorframe mounting portion. The rotary motor has a motor shaft connected to the speed reducer. The moving gear is in gear with the fixed gear and is rotated. The rotary link is rotatably connected to the doorframe mounting portion and has a first rotary roller(710) moved along a guide hole(240) on the frame. The connection link is rotatably connected to the rotary link and has a second rotary roller and moved along the concave and curved portions of the frame. The coil spring is connected to the rotary link and the connection link. The actuating arm is installed in the frame and a door.
