    Abstract: A stowable folding door device includes a slider to move the folded door in a depth direction of an article of furniture, a hook supported by the slider so as to rotate about a first rotation shaft and to engage with an engaging section provided on the article of furniture, and a lever supported by the hook to rotate about a second rotation shaft. Upon folding up the foldable door, the lever rotates in a first direction about the first rotation shaft together with the hook while contacting the rear surface of the foldable door, and the engagement between the hook and the engaging section is released. When the foldable door closes an opening of the article of furniture, the lever rotates relative to the hook in the direction opposite the first direction about the second rotation shaft while contacting the rear surface of the foldable door.

    Abstract: A runner 5 including a striker 51 in a lower portion; a catcher 6 corresponding to the striker 51 and engaging a movable body 1 in a reference position R; and an urging device 7 storing an urging force when the catcher 6 is in the reference position R, are provided. The catcher 6 in the reference position R captures the striker 51 of the runner 5 stopped and engaged with a rail 2 in a self-propelling start position SA of the movable body 1, and upon this capture, an engagement between the catcher 6 and the movable body 1 is released. At the same time, due to a backward movement of the movable body 1 from the stop position SA, the catcher 6 is positioned in the reference position R again, and releases the striker 51 of the runner 5. An engagement between the runner 5 and the rail 2 is subsequently released.

    Abstract: A slidable door for a refrigeration housing is disclosed and wherein the door is displaceable on a top support rail from a closed position over a door opening to an open position to one side of the door opening. The slidable door comprises a rectangular door panel slidably supported in a top edge thereof for displaceable support engagement with the top support rail. A guide channel is provided in a lower edge of the door panel. Spaced apart bearing posts are secured at predetermined locations in a floor adjacent the door opening, and disposed for engagement by the guide rails. The guide rail has door urging ends to displace the door panel towards the frame of the door opening to close the door opening. The top support rail is a straight rail secured at an angle with respect to the plane of the frame so that when the door panel is over the door opening it closes the opening, and when displaced to the open position, it is positioned outwardly of the plane by the supports in the top edge of the door panel and the guide rails in the lower edge thereof. A novel door frame is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A barn door includes vertical members at its ends and lateral members extended between the vertical members which the vertical and lateral members being interlocked where they meet. To this end, the vertical members are channel-shaped, each having a front and a rear wall along with a end wall that connects the front and rear walls, it being formed integral with both. Each vertical member has vertical ribs which project toward each other from its front and rear walls. The lateral members, on the other hand, have vertical slots in their side walls. The ribs of the vertical members snap into the slots of the lateral members and this interlocks the vertical and lateral members. The joints so formed are rendered more secure with screws which pass through the front and end walls of the vertical members and into the side walls of the lateral members. A siding material is attached to the lateral members and at its ends projects under a lip on the front walls of the vertical members. The door so formed is hung from trolleys which roll in a track.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a door framing system for a barn door or the like wherein a plurality of horizontal and vertical frame members are joined together to define a generally rectilinear frame structure. All of the frame members are fabricated from sustantially U-shaped channel members of similar cross-section, such that they may be cut from stock material of said U-shaped cross-section. Corner joining brackets are employed which include a pair of transversely disposed base sections, with spaced side flanges extending from each said base section to provide a U-shaped surface configuration which will embrace the outer side faces of the frame members. The brackets including clamping means for coupling the brackets to the respective frame members. There is also disclosed various bracing structures for such a door frame construction, as well as various hardware for effecting hanging of the door, guiding of the door with respect to a building structure and stop means for maintaining the door in the proper closed position.
