A method of securing a pipeline (2) to the bed (3) of a body of water (4) includes moving an underwater vehicle (6) selectively, on the bed (3) of the- body of water (4), along the pipeline (2); transporting a plurality of fastening devices (7) on the underwater vehicle (6); and driving each fastening device (7) partly into the bed (3) of the body of water (4), close to the pipeline (2), by means of a handling device (16) mounted on the underwater vehicle (6), to confine the pipeline (2) between the bed (3) of the body of water (4) and the fastening device (7).

It consists of a parallelepiped body (1) comprising a lower zone (2) provided with supports or legs (3) located in the corners, on which an upper parallelepiped zone (4) is connected, said upper zone having a trapezoidal section and with a lower central rectangular projection (6) and an upper rectangular recess (5). Both zones (2, 4) have the same length, but are offset linearly in order to define complementary tongue-and-groove coupling means for in-line assembly. The rectangular recess (5) define the bed for laying the submarine outfall or pipeline, the bed being covered with slabs (9) which are fixed to the upper zone (4) with rods. The elements or bodies (1) are also fixed to one another with vertical rods (15).

L'invention concerne un système permettant de loger et de supporter des sections de pont pour canalisations sous-marines, qui comprend un châssis (1) portant un chariot (8) autobloquant à déplacement vertical qui comporte, dans sa zone inférieure, des grappins à pinces (24) s'écartant mécaniquement, qui peuvent être bloqués pour enserrer et soulever la canalisation. Le châssis (1) comporte en outre des supports (35) autobloquants extensibles, ainsi que des moyens d'accouplement à un module de pose à partir duquel toutes les fonctions du dispositif peuvent être commandées.

Dispositif de serrage (10) servant à bloquer et à supporter un élément allongé (11), tel qu'une canalisation s'étendant au-dessus d'un fond de mer irrégulier. Le dispositif de serrage (10) comprend une selle (12) conçue pour recouvrir la canalisation à supporter, ainsi qu'un châssis d'ancrage (13) enjambant la selle (12), à laquelle il est accouplé de façon rotative. La selle (12) comprend des brides (20a, 20b) basculant automatiquement en position fermée quand ladite selle (12) repose sur l'élément allongé (11). Les brides (20a, 20b) peuvent être verrouillées de façon déclenchable en position fermée. Le châssis d'ancrage (12) possède des jambages extensibles (40) servant à supporter l'élément allongé (11) sur une surface de support sous-jacente, telle qu'un fond de mer sablonneux. Un porte-outils (105) peut être relié de façon amovible au dispositif de serrage, afin de commander à distance le fonctionnement des mécanismes de verrouillage et d'extension des jambages de support.
