Abstract:
An optical inspection system and a method of inspecting a printed circuit board identify a color for a package of a component and identify dark areas and light areas on the package. The identified color is then used to determine which of the dark areas or light areas represent markings. From the identified markings, the orientation of the component is determined.
Abstract:
An electrical wiring boards 10 having the same specifications are provided with a plurality of lands for identification 12a to 12e and identification of the type of the final product is carried out by applying solder onto one land for identification 12b corresponding to the final product.
Abstract:
A printable coating is disclosed, which is opaque as well as mar and scratch resistant. The coating contains a resin as a binder and, as a filler, titanium dioxide and boron nitride. The resultant coated film product can be used in various chemically and thermally demanding applications such as printed circuit board bar-code labels, wave solder masking tapes, automotive labels, and electrical insulation.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A printing screen (5) for use in printing a pattern of deposits onto a workpiece, the printing screen (5) comprising a sheet including a code element (9) therein, wherein the code element (9) comprises a plurality of code apertures (11) which extend through the sheet and together define a code, which can be read by a code reader from either surface of the sheet.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for programming a peripheral address. It consists in using selective interruption of at least one strip conductor (30) connecting an address programming output (2) to an electric potential source. The invention also concerns a peripheral programmed by said method.
Abstract:
A multilayer printed circuit board (10) may include traces (32) that are printed on selected layers (16) of the board so that the traces extend to the edge (24) of the corresponding layer. When the layers are assembled together, the ends (32) of the traces may be viewable on a side of the printed circuit board. The traces may be arranged to convey information. For example, trace ends may be readable as one or more binary words, as alphanumeric characters or as a bar code.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a stiffening element (2) for an assembled printed circuit board (4) with at least two plug-in connectors (6, 8). The stiffening element (2) consists of a shaped section (10) with a groove (28) running parallel to the narrow side (30, 32). The width (bN) of the groove is equal to the thickness (dL) of the printed circuit board and the depth (tN) corresponds to the marginal surface of the printed circuit board on which the components are not mounted. The length (1) of the shaped section (10) is equal to the distance (d) between the two plug-in connectors (6, 8). This makes it possible to restraighten bent assembled printed circuit boards (4) in the longitudinal axis of the plug-in connectors. These assembled printed circuit boards (4) can then be plugged in again without difficulty.
